Wachusett is a tough place to figure out, best advice I can give is to keep going and keep trying different areas. This time of year topwaters do well, early spring jig and jerkbait is better. For the next couple weeks fish sunrise/ sunset with top water and you should have some success

Don't squeeze on them .they have a slimy coating and you will cause it to come off and they will die. It keeps bacteria from getting on them.

No wading- yes you can use live bait. Google the Wachusett reservoir map to see trails and make sure you avoid the no fishing zone. Good luck out there!

I live in Agawam and have been fishing as far back as I can remember, firstly where the hell is this mysterious spot located lmao. Secondly congratulations on catching 2 Northern Pike IN THE SAME DAMN TRIP! I never even caught one, nor have people I have fished with. You earned bragging rights for sure!

I went to this spot before I can tell by the tree I thought I was the only one that fished it. I guess you guys found the spot too which is crazy, because the biggest carp I caught there was 14 pounds.
