Any tips? I suck at fishing that res so far

The best advice I can offer is simply to keep trying. This fish was the culmination of years of effort. It’s common to get skunked at Wachusett, so don’t get discouraged. Your effort will be rewarded!

Amazing fish, bummer it probably died though. Bleeding from the gills, almost always a death sentence for trout.
@ne_outdoors932 ай бұрын
Blood was from the jig in the bottom of the chin, zero damage to the gills and it swam off strong. Thanks for watching!
@ecb22632 ай бұрын
I hooked it on the lower chin ya there was blood that came out when unhooking it but it cauterized and was fine. We catch plenty of fish most have been caught before and have scars
