I like this story. 19yrs to buy it. Allan moffat edition, & still registered. Our story, my late mums xc gxl sedan. Had about 44yrs now. No where near rare like yours & it's metallic blue. It was near new when she got it, & will never get sold outside our family, still has mums home made dash mat & extra outside big mirror. Xa xb xc v8's are worth hanging on to because they're spacious & comfortable too. Dad had a red xe 6cl Fairmont for a while, it was a good car too except a squeaky front end we never solved.

@allterrainadventure 🤣 surprisingly. What wire size are running on the mig?
@allterrainadventure18 күн бұрын
.9 but grabbed some .6 (from memory) for the panels
@51CKGU18 күн бұрын
@allterrainadventure yeah righto, I have .9 in mine but would blow holes straight through that stuff. Might need to swap to .6 when I finally get my dodge 😉

I had an xc in the 80's and 90's was a 200 manual on the tree. Changed it to 250 automatic and fully integrated factory air con as I bought another stacked xc with that in it. Swapped it over. Biege in colour with brown interior. I called it the shammy. Brought the kids up in it. Had it for ten years. Before that an HR holden, had that for ten years too after I got my licence at 18. It think the XB was a better looking car between the XA to the XC. Anyway keep up the great work. Cheers from Nev.
