Bravo. Beautiful tone and a singer who actually tries Mozart's most demanding coloratura passages which so many including Pavarotti and Domingo chickened out of. Mozart took no prisoners. Mostly pulls it off too. Pity about the terrible production values.

There are so many better Queens than her. Her voice is too hard Sometimes and ahe doesnt sing effortless at all. Her pronounciation isnt good. Her legato is Not good. Her vocal technique isnt good

Si quitamos a Caruso, después él, porque nada más escuchar el ed olezzava la terra en voz de Caruso, que no llega nadie ahí pero nadie, ni llegará, lo demás lo hace impecable, también muy criticado por sus demasiadas flurituras.

Having seen multiple broadway performances, I think this isn't REALLY how Sally Bowles was intended to be seen. This scene especially was supposed to have a very different (darker, angrier) mood. There is absolutely no denying that Liza's joy and enthusiasm for this role seeps through every movement and syllable of her performance. It's never been replicated before or since. With ALL respect to the other women who have played Sally Bowles and the MC, my one regret is that I never saw Liza Minnelli and Alan Cumming do this play together.

The montage with the International is poetic. It is full of restless moods. The early 20th century has romance that was enjoyed by a specific generation. Such a thing could not be understood today. But the International will always have that which sparks romance in politics and everyday life.
