I have some clutch rattle on initial acceleration, does that normally come from the buttons wearing? By the way fantastic tutorial video!!!
@aftermarketassassins549120 күн бұрын
Button wear and excessive clearance is normally a rattle at idle. Off idle, it should go away. The secondary helix has a large EBS(engine braking) notch which causes some rattle as well. Our standard EBS helix will improve this, or we now offer a Non-EBS helix which has no notch.... so it completely eliminates the secondary chatter. Thanks!

@aftermarketassassins54917 ай бұрын
No, this would not cause high engagement of the clutch. The OEM spring should engage as low as ours. Make sure the clutch is assembled correctly and that the weights are moving freely on the pins. As per our instructions, a small dab of high temp grease should be used on the weight ID where the pin goes into. Thanks!

@aftermarketassassins54919 ай бұрын
Hi. The E85 tune is a separate tune we have to build, so it would need to be purchased. You will also need our 1200cc injectors. If going this route, the current tune you have will not run on the 1200cc injectors, so most purchase the level 3 (205hp, 91-93 octane) and level 5 (E85) for the 1200cc injectors. See here: aftermarketassassins.com/products/ols/products/aa-custom-tunes-pvcx-for-canam-x3-120hp Thanks!

With the tuner plugged in (to a computer or the RZR with the key on), go to Flash Tune and this will show all available tunes that are compatible with your ECU. If they are our tunes, they will begin with either LEV or L followed by a number. This is your tune level. EX: LEV1 or L1 would be a Level 1 tune, LEV2 or L2 would be a Level 2 tune, etc.

are you sure the comfort, standard, sport toggle switch is for throttle? I think it's for the suspension. It does not have dynamic suspension like the pro XP's but I think that toggle switch is for changing the three positions of the fox shocks so you don't have to get out and manually change it.

Switch is not for suspension at all. It’s purely throttle . These have FOX QS3 shocks. 3 meaning you have 3 click pistons on the Shock you manual handle just the same as the many years these FOx Qs3 shocks have had on the market. They did change the shock internals on this particular design.

I have a question about the magnets, In the video the installer clearly says the weight pockets nearest the tip will be the fullest, Yet every weight profile on my install sheet has more weight nearest the pin NOT the tip as indicated. I'm running 37In dirt tires so I purchased the S3 Kit with the 1072 Helix W/ almond spring. With a stock tune it says 4/2/1 so 4 magnets nearest the pin and only 1 towards the tip. Am i missing something? Lastly as a note in my instructions it says if im running a heavier tire it "might require less weight" that's fairly generic meaning if I know im running a heavy tire (System 3 370s in 37in) should i remove the one tip weight or maybe one of the 4 weights nearest the pin? I hope these are not considered dumb questions I just want to make sure I install the kit correctly the first time. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
@aftermarketassassins5491 Жыл бұрын
Good questions for sure! Go off of your sheet. Within the newest setups on the Pro R model, we found heel weight to work best. For your tires, I would suggest removing 1 magnet from the hole position 1(heel). That should work great and always make sure to check peak RPM. Thanks!

On most X3 models our clutch kits increase belt grip, but most importantly ramp RPM up quicker for better acceleration. Kits are adjustable for different tire sizes as well. Larger tires will slow down RPM and drop peak RPM, losing power. Our kits bring that back.
