How about I have a question about the norris cam, currently I have a 336s cam I will mount it in an 1835 with 1.25 rockers, but I have been told to use an engle 125 cam

I've got one of their 2" narrowed beams. 2 1/2 " drop spindles , disc brakes and 3/4" sway bar. Love it. Had all the rest of the brakes rebuilt. Car will stop on a dime. Handles great, rides nice. Pretty much the same as in the video, but for a 66 bug. Stock rear suspension. Car sets just the way I wanted. I highly recommend Kaddie Shack.

My carbs came with a little bracket on each. I think for punching a throttle cable on. If you take out the bolt on each. This is ideal for connecting the springs to as a stationary anchor. I wish this would let me attach a picture. Maybe Jeff can show this. It came on the carbs I bought from Kaddie Shack. I'm glad they talked me into the upgraded linkage. The threads on the ends of the EMPI linkage were inferior.

empi does not make good parts all OF THE TIME ,,,sometimes they are way too cheaply made , china crap ,,,,and in engineering explanation can you tell me why shimming the front end makes it go straight ?

Shimming the front beam won't make it go straight, it simply helps with return to center by improving the spindle's caster angle which improves driveability.

Also, the car has polished 5-spoke empire style wheels with the cheapest stud kit the world has ever known. They've only ever been hand-tightened and 2-3 studs on each wheel have striped threads. What is the highest quality stud/lug kitavailable for stock drums?

Years ago, I installed forged drop spindles on the front of my '67 Beetle. When I set it down, the front was about 2" lower than the drop on the spindles were supposed to take it creating clearance issues. took it to alignment shop to true it up. Still have clearance issues. Someone in it's history welded the axle beam to the frame head. What are potential reasons for this unexpected excess lowered stance?
