how do you pot them? any tips on preventing water shock? thanks

Pot them up after propagating? Or do you mean putting them into the system as cuttings? Potting up after is easy. I just put them in a pot with soil and water. Also keep in a shady spot for a few weeks to allow roots to take. Putting them in the system is as easy as taking the cutting and just putting it through a net cup into the system. I don’t know anything about water shock

@@Bethechangefarm I meant once they've formed roots how do you pot them? seems like when I try to pot my plants they wilt and die after a week. I put them under lights right after putting them in soil though. I might have an issue with fungus gnats.

As I said in my response. Just pot them up in soil and water everyday. Put them in a shady spot outside for a few weeks or until you’re ready to plant them in the ground. I did this last year with success

@@Bethechangefarm does it matter how deep you plant the root ball in the containers? It's difficult to keep the cuttings standing, do you think putting the root ball a half an inch under the soil line is ok? thanks

@@sunnysharma1701 I think a little under the soil lime is ok for a little while but as it gets sturdier try and keep the soil just below the crown

Interesting. How long to germinate peppers and tomatoes please? I think I’ll try find a vertical freezer for this project. I run a small greenhouse and heating mats are OK, but not the best. EDIT what’s the advantage of an operating freezer vs. a dead fridge with a heat mat thermostat controlling the pot?

I haven’t done peppers yet. But the tomatoes came up in 3 or 4 days. With an operating fridge you have the ability to cool it down if it gets too hot I guess. And I think that means the crockpot comes on more often than it would if the fridge didn’t work if that makes sense.
