Interesting. How long to germinate peppers and tomatoes please? I think I’ll try find a vertical freezer for this project. I run a small greenhouse and heating mats are OK, but not the best. EDIT what’s the advantage of an operating freezer vs. a dead fridge with a heat mat thermostat controlling the pot?

I haven’t done peppers yet. But the tomatoes came up in 3 or 4 days. With an operating fridge you have the ability to cool it down if it gets too hot I guess. And I think that means the crockpot comes on more often than it would if the fridge didn’t work if that makes sense.
