This is still being worked on? Darn! Quick thing, but the S3 Styled super sonic lacks his colored eyes. Maybe you could just set them to black to fix it?

It's so good to see this project still alive, no matter how long it takes! Perfect timing too since I just got back into Sonic CD and am itching for more of that gameplay, lol Hearing that Hill Top motif in Emerald Hill Past at 5:16 makes me wonder if that was an intentional reference to Hill Top Zone being a past version of Emerald Hill Zone in the Sonic 2 Beta. If so, that's an incredible reference, and pulling from the time travel aspects of the Beta has so much potential for cool stuff in a Sonic 2 and CD mash up project. It's absolutely perfect, I love it!

5:00 if you are concerned about supersonic and forgetting what shield the player has at that time, you could always draw a power up / item hud under the rings like some rom hacks do, stars could flicker when they are about to expire, have shields show up there. Etc Probably wouldn’t need more 3-5 on a row; would still be a low profile fix with out putting too much clutter on the screen

I remember this hack. I played it years ago and can’t believe to see how far you came along with it! I’ve even made some logos after so many years that’ll be a good replacement for the title screen!

With the new time travel setting, you can time travel to reset the timer to 5 minutes! I'll consider adding that to the options, regardless :3

Suggestion: After the third second of running, the future/past symbol flicks, you know that, but when you stop running at the third second, in this hack, it stays, but in the original Sonic CD, it disappears and you have to find another future/past sign. Make it behave like Sonic CD

I'm torn on that, Sonic 2s' levels aren't really built for time travel, which makes it harder to do, and easier to lose the sign power by mistake. I've had it this way for ages to make time travel more fun and less punishing. Perhaps I could make this a toggleable option in the options menu!

i think, in the past variant of emerald hill zone, the background should show the water, like in lauch base or hydrocity. i also half expected hill top to just be emerald hill zone past, but apart from that, this looks really good!

I've thought about changing the background for the water before, but I have no clue how Launch base did it; background effects aren't my specialty x3 I'll see what I can do though! Glad you like it :3

oh damn, this is so much better than the Portal mod as I remembered it! I remember when they only showed the inactive texture (even if both portals were placed), then for a while they _did_ kinda show the view from the other portal, but it was extremely hacky? Meanwhile this looks beautiful, plus seamless teleports!
