@@ZanderRice-u3z it did use scrap brain assets at the time yeah. I reverted it because it wasn't quite looking right and required a lot of work iirc. It'll likely need a proper artist to overhaul it

@@DelayRGC yup, at least in sonic 1 it works like that, turning on a Flag makes the timer stop, it should be simple

@@JohnWayne-bm1ty Well, neither S1 nor S2 were built with time travel cutscenes in mind, it's probably _not_ that simple. Maybe a step in the right direction, but it would honestly be suspicious if the bug was that easy to fix. Pacca isn't stupid, they probably tried some things to address this!

@@JohnWayne-bm1ty I don't recall their being an easy way to stop the timer, at least in Sonic 2. It's admittedly been a while since I touched it, but I recall the way it's done being kind of silly and hardcoded, breaking other parts of the game if used elsewhere. My fix for this and the Time Stone (which also freezes the in game timer) is just to set the subsecond timer to 0 every frame, which does the trick well enough x3

@@Pacca64 Well, if you have full control over the timer there might actually be a workaround. IIRC Sonic CD (the original 93 release) resets your clock back to 5:00 if the time is larger than that. So, at the beginning of the cutscene you might be able to check the time and if it's greater than 5 minutes, set it back to whatever 5:00 - cutscene length is?

The 'us' tracks are just taken from Sonic 3D blast/flickies island. Custom tempo shifts and music made for the hacka re exclusive to it tho
