Bought a pump pistol a while back hoping it was the same model from years ago.The sights were pitiful!!Oh but don't worry you can buy a new bolt assembly for a scope. The very fact that that the imbeciles would have a sight alignment that sends all rounds 6 feet high at ten yards has made crosman dead to me.

You should be able to see the barrel issue. It would have to be angled really high to be off that much. I also have a plastic breech model 1377, it's not a design issue. Something is wrong with yours.

A bit over priced, but the new one I received looks and shoots awesome. The draw to the Pro Sport is the looks with it's hidden underlever giving it a clean look like a tradition rifle. No lever or tank hanging out under the barrel. As far as accuracy I can't say it's more accurate the my HW97k. Some days I shoot one better than the other. The Pro Sport isn't for everyone as it's harder to cock and costs a bit more.

Guess my reply disappeared. Thanks Vin! After watching your video I decided to give a try again. Will make a full video shooting offhand later. Now it looks like I may have to try 150 yards after your last video. I've never pushed a springer that far. Just shooting groups off a rest gets boring. Up until about 9-10 years ago offhand was all I did pretty much. It's as much fun watching the grandkids learn as shooting. This one just needs to take some time to practice more. Then I would have some tough competition. Several years back she went out shooting with her family. They came back bragging about her shooting and how they showed her how to shoot. I just laughed. They know I been teaching her for years, but since we only shoot airguns, They act like it doesn't carry over to firearms. She probably shot better than them with as little trigger time as they get shooting firearms.

If you think about both AA and HW are pretty expensive. Especially when you add in a Walnut stock. Just a good tune kit is closer to 100.00 now. By the time you put just a tuning kit in the HW97K your in the TX200 price range. AA has a bit better fit and finish than HW these days. A little more elegant is probably the right word. HW is now laser etching their name and everything on their guns. It's not really bad. AA looks more like theirs is nicely engraved - Elegant 😆. You can disassemble an Air Arms with just a few simple tools. No spring compressor required, not that I would need to on the Pro Sport, but I may put a little molly paste on the piston some day.

How did you do with the Hunter Extreme Pro or the Gen 1 Gamo Magnum? I had no clue how accurate these magnums were until I seem people doing reviews on them. People I've watched shoot doing reviews for years and seen what kind of groups they typically get. I watched them getting all getting way better than normal groups than I expected with the Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen2 and had to buy one. Sure enough. I was getting sweet groups at 25 yards with a Magnum that didn't weight 8-9 pounds. That's when I went looking for another in .22 and found the Hunter Extreme Pro with steel barrel and breech. When I got it I was amazed at how good it looked and the quality of the beech stock. Hands down the best value of any air rifle I've bought as I caught it on sale for a little over 200 shipped. I almost bought another. If the .25 goes on sale I may get it too. They no longer make the Extreme pro in .22. I have several videos planned for this rifle showing what groups I get at 25 yards, 50 yards and 100 yards. I also have the Gamo Swarm magnum Gen 2 in .177 I will do the same with. Since we all have a different idea of what precision is I can't really comment on that as everyone has a different option. Myself precision is 5 shots through close to the same hole at 25 yards consistently and at least all 5 through a jagged hole. So far with the magnums I was getting typical dime size groups at 25 yards which means I should be well under 2 inches at 50 yards. As you seen when I tested a few groups in this video I put 4 either almost or under a quarter with a flyer that was on me due to just needing more practice most likely. If I couldn't keep it under 2 inches groups at 50 yards I would find out if it was me, the gun or the wrong pellets. Could be either one or a combination of those. I know both my Gamo Magnums will and my Hatsan Sniper 125 did, but I haven't shot much in the last 6-7 years. Hard to keep enough scopes because I keep buying to many air rifles and have to pull them from my older guns lol, but I'm working on trying to buy more scopes and slow down on the air rifles lol. I do have a Benjamin Trail XL in .25 caliber I don't have sorted out yet, Only getting about quarter size groups at 25 yards. Too many guns and not enough time.

If I could choose only one, it would be the Pro Sport. It's only downside is it's harder to cock until you get use to doing it. The Pro Sport comes factory tuned and has no spring buzz. Pro Sport unless the harder cocking effort is an issue. Have to learn how and where to hold it standing or sitting. Otherwise the TX200hc just because the fish scales cut into the stock looks amazing and it can be torn down easily in minutes to tune it. If I didn't mind spending the money and could find a HW97k 125th edition available for pre-order, and didn't mind the wait that might sway me to the HW97k 125th edition. If I didn't have the Blue HW97K I would have ordered one already. I don't see them listed on the AOA sight so they may be out of pre-orders. Would have to call to see but they are pricey. AOA does have the HW97K in Walnut if you decide to go that route. I love the looks of the Pro Sport and it may be more accurate than my HW97k, or just a bit less hold sensitive.

@@richardbrooks1488 Your right. I believe the Pro Sport came out around 1993 and took like 8 years to get the hidden underlever cocking system worked out. Very few high end spring airguns have changed much in the last 30-50. This leaves the Pro Sport as one of the best looking and shooting springers of all times. It takes the form of a tradition hunting rifle without a cutout for a break barrel or a lever exposed to cock the rifle. It takes more cocking effort, but worth it to those than can handle it without issues. The reason I've wanted the Pro Sport for so long and finally bought one is looks. No other springer looks like the Pro Sport. Absolutely gorgoues with the clean lines without an exposed cocking lever. I have plenty of super accurate springer that will shoot jagged holes at 25 yards if I do my part. None do it better or with more style than the Pro Sport.

The Hawke medium rings had the scope scope close the A/O ring would rub so I kept them for another gun and ordered some really nice UTG PRO rings for it. Still Medium's because they are listed to work with a 40mm scope and these do. Not sure what was up with the Hawke rings. It's a SFP scope. I found them on sale again from the same place and ordered another. Then they raised the price up again lol. It really didn't look good in person and I don't think adding oil to it would help. I did oil that area a little as it was dry and also looked like it still had fine saw dust on it. As seen in the video, that was the least of the problem and it went. I've had a new one that looks awesome for about a week now. What I would expect from Air Arms and a gun the cost a 1k.

I have had an HW97k with the pretty blue stock for about 8 years. I did get my 2nd Pro Sport in and it's a keeper for sure. I also have an HW95N and an HW50S 125th edition on order so I'm a big fan of Weihrauch. But the Pro Sport might be my favorite underlever now.

I like how the boy loads his pellets with his right hand. A lot of not only youtubers do that with their left hand whilst they still shoot with their right hand. So when they handle a pcp pistol, such as the HW40, they needlessly make things more fidgety for themselves.

Mine was very pellet fussy I tried about 7 different types then I tried air arms deabolo field 16grns and the grouping is brilliant I also put about 4 coats of beeswax on mine to fetch the grain out .

There's different levels of fussy. You mean like only one pellet that will shoot a one jagged hole group at say 25 yards or is it more dime to quarter size groups.

I hit groups of half inch with the air arms deabolo field.

Mine performs best with either Air Arms Diabolo Field or Cometa Exact pellets, both made by JSB.
