Nice review! I just watched the US version again. On the bluray it looks quite a bit better than the UK one. I like the music score, by Frankel, on the UK version a little better, especially the opening title theme (if you don't watch all of the UK version, sample the opening credit theme, it's really great). I do think it's a great movie too,, but I could probably do without the extra character of Hugh Marlowe as a romantic foil for Widmark with Gene Tierney. Those scenes slow the film down a little. The characters are really great in this, all so well played, including a big fave of mine, Herbert Lom

I like your review. This is a movie I saw originally in the theater and I didn't like it. I watched it now and then over the years and bought the DVD because I really started to like it. To me, it's a Halloween Odyssey, in which a young man encounters people and monsters along the way, in order to sort out his feelings about life and death and to make him commit to one or the other. Pretty much what you said. And visually, it's gorgeous, and I also love the 60s music. Enjoyed your review!

It's actually 24 episodes. For some reason they put the movie ''SUPERMAN AND THE MOLE MEN'' on the set twice as well as gave it 2 diffrent titles. Edited and UN-edited. Episode 24 is the final episode.

You can tell bootlegs by the disc as well as you can see it has burned data on the back official releases don't show the data

To Wit: Sorry, but you've got it EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what it actually was: DR. DOUGLAS PHILLIPS (Robert Colbert) is the one with some hesitations and doubts about sending a man through "The Tunnel" too prematurely... DR. TONY NEWMAN (James Darren) is the one who takes a chance, against orders, sneaks into the complex one night, and (covertly) activates the system... It is TONY, then, who winds up on the Titanic in Episode One; and THEN, it is DOUG who decides to take the chance to try and go to his friend's "rescue"... You're, also, WAY OFF on the opening narration/monologue; it goes thusly: "TWO AMERICAN SCIENTISTS ARE LOST, IN THE SWIRLING MAZE OF PAST AND FUTURE AGES, DURING THE FIRST EXPERIMENTS ON AMERICA'S GREATEST AND MOST SECRET PROJECT: THE TIME TUNNEL! TONY NEWMAN AND DOUG PHILLIPS NOW TUMBLE HELPLESSLY, TOWARD A NEW, FANTASTIC ADVENTURE... SOMEWHERE, ALONG THE INFINITE CORRIDORS OF TIME!" That opening narration in the majority of the series' episodes (they, eventually, stopped using it after the premise had been so-well developed, and just SHOWED Tony and Doug "tumbling" to their next "Adventure-In-Time") was delivered by DICK TUFELD, the "go-to" voice-over/announcer for many of Irwin Allen's projects... And... HE WAS THE VOICE OF THE ROBINSON'S ROBOT, "B-9", THROUGHOUT THE THREE-SEASON RUN OF IRWIN ALLEN'S SPACE SAGA, "LOST IN SPACE"! Additionally, They DID NOT "recap" the last episode going into the new one - AGAIN, you've gotten it EXACTLY 180-degrees opposite of the actual way they handled the episode transitions... Tony and Doug would be "transferred" to a new "Time Zone" at the end of an episode, and they would land in the "new zone", that would foreshadow events leading into the new one to come... They would get into a "jeopardy situation" in the new time, and THAT would create "A CLIFF-HANGER", like the old movie mantinee "serials" ("Flash Gordon", "Buck Rogers", etc.), to "hook you in" to watching that, next episode... So... They NEVER "recapped" the last episode in the new one, they, instead, set up the premise... FOR THE NEXT ONE, IN THAT "LAST ONE"! Then, in the new episode, THEY RECAP THE "CLIFF-HANGER", they get them out of it, or "neutralize the situation", then go to the new episode's opening credits. From there, after the "break", the story proceeds forward, into the main body of the episode. Irwin used that very same "Cliff-Hanger" technique in the earlier episodes of "Lost In Space", before they began to restructure the series, eliminating those "jeopardy situations" from episode to episode, and going straight into "capped" episodes", non-dependent on any preceding one, so that they could stand alone and be run "out of order", in (eventual) syndication, later. (PLEASE NOTE: I actually WORKED on an Irwin Allen project in the mid-'70s, and I know his basic formatting and presentation structuring... VERY WELL!) I'd have thought that if someone is going to do "a review" here, that the least they could do would be to refresh themselves with THE ACTUAL MATERIAL, FIRST... Every year this opinion gets dumber and dumber seeing what Criterion tends to put in their collection lately, which tends to be movies that came out the year before or are not hard to find at all in any way. The fact that out of 1000+ films in the collection only 3 are animated is bogus to me. Oh boo hoo, they can't get Disney or Ghibli movies? There are still so many incredibly important and fantastic animated films out there in the world, and they just refuse to put them in there just because of animated prejudice. Thumbs down to that.

I think 12 angry men is the greatest film ever made.. I being honest it's just perfect.. I get Emotional thinking about how amazing it is.. they truly did they did they made it perfect.. how can mankind make something so beautiful.. no flaws not even any nic picky things.. it deserves its 100% rating.. please people keep it at that rating on rotten tomatoes..

Here's a tip: Put dryer sheets everywhere you can in the "The Complete Mr. Arkadin" set including around the outside. Place it in a ziplock bag for a week. When you take it out, the smell will be reduced greatly or eliminated completely. Yes, it will smell like a dryer sheet but it will fade after a couple days. Hope this helps!

Anyone know if these episodes have been edited from the original network airing🤷‍♂️I've found many of these old series like the reissue of Sanford and son have some of the racial topics censored 😡not the full series if they are not the full episodes as they aired on TV I wished they stopped doing these shenanigans i don't want to buy all in the family if the best comedy is censored 🤑
