I only have a 3s Typhon but it's still a super fun RC. The 6s is an absolute beast. Great speed and jump capable. You really got yourself a great RC and did an awesome job showing it in action. 👍

Anyone considering getting one, I have both colors. Lots of fun but as an adult you soon will feel the need for more speed. Excellent starters for kids though. Good entry into the hobby. Fun in general and whatever gets these kids outdoors works for me

I just got two Mojave Grom’s (both colors) a couple weeks ago for my 5 and 7 year old boys and they are so much fun I can’t decide if I should get myself a Mojave 4s or a Kraton 4s. I see you already have the red Mojave Grom. Would you recommend this over the Kraton?

Love the typhoon used to have the 3S version I tried those street tires before and I hated them I much prefer the stock buggy tires I just got the 6S in the mail today I can't wait. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I'm a bit late to the party here, but my maxx slash lasted 13 days before the esc shit it self. So I sent the whole lot back under consumer rights act in the UK. Now on arrma mojave 4s and kraton 6s exb... fantastic cars!!

@SanjayShaun-n7h To be honest that's a tough one. They both take an extreme amount of punishment. I like the Mojave 4s better overall than the Maxx Slash. But I'm gonna say the Maxx Slash is more durable because the body takes most of the damage and holds up better than the Mojave body does.

@Rc-Krazy Awesome, man!! I appreciate it!! I've had two Traxxas Maxx trucks. They are great trucks, but the price is to steep, in my opinion. The redcat takes just as much of a beating as they did for almost half the price!

Long term on the 4s is questionable at best. I'd always upgrade to the 6s as they run on 4s so plenty of headroom. The after market support on the 6s range is so much better too❤

@surfside75 My 4s has definitely been through the ringer. The body's don't hold up to well and the steering is a little loose. But it still continues to take a beating. I just got my first 6s Arrma last month. The Typhon. I absolutely love it!

I agree! I feel like for the price the truck should already come with the upgraded gears. I ordered the GPM gears for it but havent put them in yet. Hopefully soon! Cant wait to bash it again!

@@HumlsHobbies I think better gears will fix it, if it's just not too much torque for the diameter gears. I believe Traxxas makes a great income from parts 😉 both upgrades and repairs 🤔

I've had my mt since the day they were released. I replaced the shocks with the updated set they auto sent me. Fast and tough it's a great entry level rig

@chriskryder2994 they are tough as nails. I haven't replaced the shocks yet, and the only thing I've broken is a battery strap. It's definitely a great rig!

As a xmaxx owner I can say that a 20t techno pinion and 50t hot racing spur gear, along with captured gpm hing pins and drywall tape and shoo goo for the body, it’s a blast, I’ve never had so much fun bashing, especially with my new mega ramp😎

@@BrooksLMM1 I ordered GPM mod 1.5 gears for it. Still need to put them in. It's one of the funnest trucks I own when I'm not eating the gears up. I will check out the techno gears if these gpm gears don't last. Thanks for watching!

Get your self a Dusty Rc Cover to keep that dirt out! FYI Rlaarlo Omni Terminator is 250 and just as quick but metal shocks, metal chassis and metal shock uprights.

Red thread lock is over kill...i guess if you never plan on changing your pinion its okay...For me even blue lock tight usually makes it almost impossible to remove grub screws...

@roadstar499 it's definitely overkill, but I usually just heat it up with a small torch, and that helps take it off.

Hold a solder tip on it for a few seconds will make it easier . Even heating up a screwdriver tip flathead and holding it there for a few seconds will transfer enough heat to loosen the loctite . Bash on brother

@@RCLifeChoseMe What esc and battery did you use? I have a brushless mini B that is stock besides upgraded shocks. I thought about upgrading to a faster brushless system but the room under the body is so minimal. I have a Mojave Grom on a Brushless 3S 4500kv setup that has hit 57mhp so far on stock gearing lol

@@Shreddylife I used the Hobbywing EZRun A1 motor/ESC combo. I am still using the battery that came with the car. As for receiver, in order to keep the factory transmitter I used a HRZ00006 Proboat Receiver which can bind to it.
