I have been there many times, and have brought groups, family, and friends to this wonderful place over the years. One time, attendance had been low, and I saw an employee/volunteer standing and engaged a conversation about train sets in our past. I asked politely if we could go " inside a "mountain" to see the "inner sanctum" where the control systems were. He obliged with kindness and my grandson and I feasted on the electronic controls, switching, and feedback systems to keep trains from running into each other. What a great place!!!!

It seems like an ingenious location. It will draw from Sidney, Piqua, Troy, Tipp, hospital staff and visitors, and I-75 traffic-including trucks.

I lived in Lima as a kid, then we moved to Orlando Florida with my mother's new boyfriend, who was moving down here to work construction at Disney World and building Epcot. Before my mother met that boyfriend, I remember her taking us 3 kids to that mall to steal winter jackets! Single broke mother had to do what she had to do! lol

I go by this area to New Carlisle, Ohio to visit friends I have living up there as I live nearby myself. Been some issues getting it started for this truck stop getting built. Winter storm hit the area, not sure how much that area got of snow, around 4 or 5 inches I think as Troy, Ohio got about that much snow I think, according to channel 7. I live in eastern Greene County, Ohio and got 12 inches of snow from that winter storm. Thanks for the update.

I am going up that way probably sometime next week as we have another storm coming close by our area, won't affect much up north of I-70, but for me where I live in southern Ohio, a different story with snowfall....so I will go thru there next week and see what's going on up there with that Bucees being built. I have no drone, so it will just be what I see from my car on Route 235 heading north. I know you both probably will be in that area before I get back up there, but I will still give a report on the progress at that bucee's north of I-70.

@@followthearrows We got plenty of snow... I did not see anyone trying to go anywhere today... but the roads should be cleared fairly good by the morning, when I need to hid out. If only our complex would clear the roads and sidewalks... Nope.. LOL the snow will stay for scenery for a while thanks to the cold temps :)

I really wish they found a buyer to keep this place. I live close to Entertrainment Junction. I don’t think people who visit Ohio or even people from Ohio knows about this place! Shame! I My Grandchildren and children love Entertrainment Junction. It will be missed!
