I honestly would like if Harry Potter didn't return here, the well for new ideas feels like it's run dry and the IP is getting pretty stale. What I want to know is what will happen with Nintendo. Super Nintendo World has been a massive success all over the world with a lot of merch opportunity, so would they create something new Nintendo-related for the UK or just build SNW again? Maybe they'll just stick to Pokémon with the UK-inspired Galar region?

I think Harry Potter will come. I dont agree with Becca, because you have to remember not everyone can afford to goto Orlando or any of the other Universal parks.

Just planning a trip to Madrid, would you recommend a visit to the park for 1.5 days or visit the park for 1 day and use the other 1/2 day to visit the other park in Madrid?

I think that universal have been cunning Jurassic park events in the UK this year is defo a good sign. So definitelya Jurassic world area and there is no chance they wont capitalise on Harry Potter they fact not too.

This project will benefit from the government's new lacks planning laws (if passed), the environmental impact stuff is what delays major projects, which will also make overall costs lower

Hope it does get the go ahead soon. It will be great for the tourism industry and create lots of much needed jobs. I think Universal will make the park uniquely UK themed, give or take a few rides that are not. Throw Harry Potter in the bin, we don't need more of that overrated guff. They have to create new attractions and rides that will only be available exclusively in the UK. I also hope the car parks are multi-storey so they will have more land for the actual theme park.

One thing we don't have a great selection of here is dark rides, so I'm hoping if they want this to be a 365 park that they'll have a decent selection. And hopefully not screen based 🙈

I definitely think it’ll go ahead, I recon we’ll get an announcement after epic opens up, in regards to lands and rides, I think a doctor who themed land with a ride based around the tardis would be great 😊

Pitch Perfect Stage Show and no Jurassic Park or Harry Potter lands please. A wooden and steel coaster plus a next gen Vekoma Flying coaster. A Fast and Furious Bank heist ride like spiderman could be good. Bring back the classics like BTTF and Twister too!!!!

Who is going to be able to afford to go there?

Universal is absolutely happening. I think the delays were solely down to the fact we had a general election, so the government didn't really do much for ~12 weeks given the election period, transition period from Con to Lab, summer recess etc. - I think this is universally (no pun intended) supported in the UK, it'd be fantastic for our economy, our tourism and I think some major infrastructure projects, like this, is what this country needs to get moving again. In terms of what they'd put in it, I like to think it'd be very British themed. We're probably the 3rd largest film industry in the world, behind Hollywood and Bollywood, so there's a lot of IPs there - plus I'm sure the BBC would license it's IPs to Universal, given they were willing to do it for the London Resort. It'll also give it a USP for tourists from other countries of why they'd want to come to Universal GB - and not Orlando. Finally, if Universal were in the future to expand to mainland Europe, it'd still give Universal GB a USP and make it stand out. In terms of what I'd like to see, big Doctor Who fan - so I do hope the BBC licenses Doctor Who for it! I think the Wizarding World is a given (in fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they theme the train station on the site to Platform 9 3/4s). I'd also personally like to see Lord of the Rings. The Shire would be great to walk around (without having to go all the way to New Zealand!) Great video - it's very exciting times indeed for the UK Theme Park industry!

The idea of the back to the future 88mph launch coaster that's brilliant! I would like to see a B&M hyper somthing with bags of airtime as i feel we don't have much airtime in the UK.

Im sorry i dont get your love for jurrassic park. The first movie was great but every film since was a load of rubbish. Also the uk has always had dinosaur attactions even before the film came out so it has been done to death here. Harry potter would work but they would have to make it the biggest and best one in the world with rides the UK has never seen before. The 007 land is a fantastic idea and has never been done so many possibilities. Great video guys its fun to speculate.

The reason Warner Brothers have been doing extremely badly is mainly down to the current dreadful CEO, absolutely bad decision after bad decision after bad decision even cancelling entire movies just so they can do a tax write off!🤬

As long as the traditional seaside parks, PB holycromb dreamland, et cetera survive and you okay then I don’t mind I’m up for it.
