The more I hear this song the more profound it becomes for me. This song has become like a personal prayer for me. I am a follower of Tsubaki Faith tradition and am learning. Knowing Ta no Kami is used as a title for Sarutahiko no Ōkami in this faith, it’s like this song is a prayer to the main kami I worship and pray to! I love even more how it mentions the frogs calling to Ta no Kami twice when frogs become a symbol for Sarutahiko no Ōkami due to their closeness to the sacred earth.
