Have a 2019 camaro SS afm valves seem to be failing when switching to v4 mode (not closing) if I get this would it keep the valves open always since it’s in v8 mode?

In terms of Aerodynamic efficiency it is better taken off. But honestly I would rather keep it on because it’s rare to go on a top speed run in such a vehicle. I’m not saying it’s slow, but not even people with ZL1s often take their cars to the max speed unless they are on a track.

I went ahead and bought the Z26 street warrior kit for my 2021 Summit white SS and honestly I haven’t had any issues with it squeaking. The only time it will squeak is when I initially get out of park when my car has been sitting outside. But I live in a very humid environment so I can’t really avoid that but I have noticed that the brake dust is not as much compared to the OEM ones.

Is there an option to still keep the valves? I love the sound but I also like the option to put it in stealth mode when I’m in neighborhoods or around cops

I have a 2023 ss camaro in tryna figure out if this is my problem too. There is a slight a stop in the sound of acceleration? Does that happen?

The exact same thing is happening to me, the driver's side skirt, is coming undone. not the passenger's thou. I am going to try something different, going to install the outer side (with better brand double sided tape) and let it cure, and then secure the underneath section. Hopefully that would do it, hopefully.

If you're on a budget, the cheaper disablers work fine. If you got the $, just spend a few more $ on a handheld tuner like Diablo or HP tuner. I get a little better mpg with AFM disabled with my Diablo tuner than i did with the Range. And you get a lot more from a tuner. I have an octane tune, AMF off, speed limiter off and firm shift trans tune on my 5.3.

The diffuser I have is a Range one. I have a 2024 2SS. I have gone through 3 already. The technician from Holley said it could be that the technology isn’t compatible with the 2024 computer yet. I was very disappointed. I hate driving around in instant V4. Chevy has got there heads up there ass. At least put and on off switch.
