Hey man! I was the guy that messaged you about your diffuser on marketplace. Wanted to add that not only is the fuel economy increase extremely minimal, it's also horrible for the motor long term. My first SS with 45k miles would noticeably shudder when going into the "v4" mode and it rode rougher as well. Great product and good video! I was the guy that said I had a red SS and would honk at ya if I saw you around. I managed to upgrade to a ZL1 after years of wanting one!

Yup yup ! Bought one of these and I’m glad I did! Still got warranty for about 15k more miles. A reminder if for some reason this module pops out when driving, pull over asap and reinstall or else you’ll receive a check engine light and your transmission wont let you go past 1st gear when driving. If that happens, plug module back in, wait for lights to flicker (meaning it’s on and working) and wait 5 minutes, when you turn the car back on, your check engine light will still be there but your transmission should allow you to move up in gears again. Still a great product.

Had one of those when I had a 2018 Silverado high country. That light was an annoying so I put a strip of black electrical tape on it lol. Did the job. And yes, it was a good investment considering the cost to fix those failed lifters🤦🏻‍♂️👍🏼

I've noticed a lot of these lifters get stuck in the collapsed position. Putting one of these in has got to greatly reduce the risk of lifter failure in these cars by not letting them collapse in the first place.

It’s most likely tuned out. If the car isn’t dropping into v4

Hey I’ve got this issue on my 2017 2ss, dealer and local mechanic couldn’t fix it… is there a reason you chose that specific disabler? I ask cause this one is cheaper and seems reviewed well “OBDCAR RA003 AFM/DFM Disabler Active Fuel Management AFM Disable device” but I’m a little intimidated by the bad reviews of both. I don’t want to damage my car or anything. Anyway, if you had any input on that I’d appreciate it. I might just shell out for the range tech to be more safe.

Hey, I chose this one mainly due to this being the version that most people use. Also, I got a great deal of $50 for it. The one you listed, I have seen a few people use before. If anything, this will help your car more due to it not switching between v8 and v4 anymore with the low quality lifters

Appreciate the response! I went ahead and go the range tech, installed it a few days ago and it's fixed it for me. Pretty funny considering my local mechanic said it would be "impossible to do with just a plug in tool" lol. Thanks for the vids and info, earned a sub. @@JCSCUSTOMS

There can’t be a difference in pops and bangs with or without AFM Module. The pops and bangs are just happening above 3000Rpm and the 4cylinder mode will never be activated at such high Rpm like 3000 and more. I have the same 2020 6.2 and also disabled AFM, no changing in pops and bangs, but with time you learn how short right at certain Rpm to hear them longer ^^

Then I have something going on. My pops would always stop at a couple now it’s continuous until I hit the throttle again. I’ve already recorded comparisons before and after at the same shift points and throttle just haven’t posted them yet..

@@JCSCUSTOMS weird. In general you can say that the Camaros from 2019+ are poping until the revs going down below 3000rmp. Especially when you stop throttling in high revs like 5500+ because the automatic will shift down about 2-3 gears before it reaches the limit of 3000rmp. So with this you have the most fun :D But anyway, we can feel lucky to have such big pops and bangs (I like to call it Popcorn) even on a stock car :D
