I wasn't a huge fan of this Unbound set but that scene recreation was spectacular, it gave me chills, particularly how they exterminate Sarah and Harry so suddenly and the regeneration into the unbound Doctor of War was intense too.

I noticed that in the "Dust Devil" version, Baker's delivery becomes a lot harsher and more aggressive when he says the line about a child who would grow up to become a dictator. I imagine that was the point of divergence from the original timeline, the moment he made the decision that the universe really would be better off without the Daleks in it.

It's an excellent series! If you're a fan of audio drama I'd definitely recommend the audio series, it's not Joanna Lumley and David McCallum as the title roles, but the cast is fantastic, and as you can hear in this clip David Collings does reprise his role as Silver

No matter who killed the bully, it set the stage for who the Doctor and the Master would be going forward. The Master would've found he had a bloodlust if he was the one to do the deed or if he wasn't, the trauma of nearly being drowned would've fostered an insecurity in him to always shoot first as well as always wanting to be in control. As for the Doctor, if he killed the bully, he would likely have taken uo the no killing rule out of disgust for his actions that day and if he hadn't, his actions to help his friend, even if it meant hiding the truth, lays bare his character even back then as someone who always helps his friends to try to make them better. Despite the Master's evil, the Doctor still believes in him, a belief that still holds true even in their later regenerations
