man every time I look at sprocket development, I get more impressed. I remember when it was super barebones.

I didnt find it hard, it was just boring because of the tank being slow and frustrating if the tank just got stuck somewhere.

Based on experience a double layer of 40 mm armour can stop a 155mm shell without any problems

I don't think testing armor is really possible yet, the values are all wrong and just weird. I've had gigantic 250mm shells not penetrate/damage 10mms of armor

holly smokes, this game is sooooooo full of bugs! How the fuel tank burning outside of the tank exploded ammo in the turret?! Why shells phase through sold armor to kill crew? WTF is this? And I was complaining about War Thunder, LMAO.

I've been a fan of adding NERA to my own tanks using Applique armor (using a turret or shaving off a plate somehow made my tank less protected as somehow the penetrated shell would still damage modules and kill the crew) and i made a series of tanks using applique armor as NERA plates, i am interested to see how the alpha ends of up with. i like to make MBTs with NERA arrays for fun.

My tanks are all STRV 103 adjacent doom wedges, most with a matching turret. I don't have penetration issues because I also have thicker armor to supplement the wedge.

The space armor might not work because the game might think youre shooting at yourself

its pretty sad a game based on armor penetration simulation and sells on that point. cannot handle handle penetration other than the most basic single surfaces.
