In the second of a 4-part series for the Official Sprocket Discord's "Luck of the Draw" contest, we take 16 tanks built from randomly-generated tank prompts and fight them out against each other!

Wow that 2605 super heavy is a really well built tank. Two knocked out of action but not even close to being destroyed. Multiple shot pens with no fire, no exploding fuel tanks or ammo racks. Sensible armament, reasonable armour and mobility too. Most impressive.

Top comedy from this minimal commentary sometimes. "aaaand.. we are fighting a rainbow colored civilian truck with two cannons on it" Just.. chef's kiss. The silence is deafening. Just the total lack of acknowledgment of the bit. There is so much you could've said about the "i was forced" in that first introduction and it's made so much funnier by just saying none of it

@@thewonderwaffleofficial there used to be an even more bullsh*t way to do this, I remember a few versions ago external fuels can be used as ERA and barely weights anything. which means you could slap a lot of "ERA"s on a tank that is paper thin and have better survival chance than a heavy tank

continuing the references, the Xifajk seems to be partially inspired by the Avali race? It's a light, decently-armored and mobile MBT with focus on ambush and sniping... and the name SCREAMS 'alien tank'?!

O-16 Export got robbed

Yeah. "Vauban finished faster" - but it didn't win that round, by precedent, if the round times out it's called a draw, and this would have timed out, they jut called it early because nothing was happpening. O-16 got 5 kills to 1 across both rounds, and 1 clear victory. Referee must be french.

@@Eserchie He should have just chosen a different map tbh, the dunes one was just unfair for the Vauban. It was obvious the O-16 would win on the player side.

Well the only problem I saw so far with all of this builds (except of the poor AI handling of them) is that they probably all use just standart AP shells. That's why all enmies need to be sprayed with several shells before they got destroyed. With APHE shells battles will be goung a lot quicker, since every hit does substentially more damage and probably destroy tank from the first sucsessfull hit))

Yep, although APHE has 25% less penetration, so it does lack in that.

@@thewonderwaffleofficialfor example one of the super heavies that I've made for my Alternate Sprocket Universe called CZV Y-6500 Colossus Super Heavy Tank acording to it's lore has 175-mm autoloaded HV gun with separate-sleeve loaded shells. And it has enough penetration and potential to destroy everything one shot with APHE shells even though it has only 605 m/s muzzel velocity and 20 sec reload (need to mess with file editing a bit to make reload time suitable for an autoloader like 7-10 seconds)))

Sorry if this is an obvious question, are you running mods for certain parts and build tools? If so, what ones and where could I find them. Some of the parts don't look like what I can find in-game. Awsome video though.

Huh, i thought at 1st this game was kinda dead, but i did not expect a whole contest in there, which is cool cuz that lets to know this game is actually popular, which is of course nice. Btw, can you please explain how the points system even works? Its a bit confusing.

Points is pretty much the total percentage of enemy vehicles killed compared to how many appeared in the battlefield, with a maximum of 100 per match and 200 possible in total. Expect to see alot more stuff going on with Sprocket when the Geometric Internals update launches in 3 weeks!

If it proves impossible to connect, most people advise enabling the “place anywhere” cheat. That issue is a bug and the cheat setting fixes it.

Matches take the average of two rounds to determine the winner.
