Dude...l see this is 3 years old, but there is no way in HELL l would have done that for 1K...you seem to be a cool and honest guy, but you cheated the HELL out of yourself...l just purchased a 299d3 and 6 attachments...a FAE mulching head that has to be greased every 4 hours... maintenance on these machines cost a lot alone... I wouldn't have done that job for no less than $6,500...

My two cents is this, "original " land ownerships move in and out of many peoples hands, city ordinance changes, easements are changed but documents are not updated. A row of trees or bushes or a change in landscape can make a peice of land to look different over time. If someone is best friends with their neighbor and he says, I don't have a problem if want to but part of your garage over the end of the yard, time goes by and no one updates any documentals. New owners will just assume the tree line or fence line is the property break. We have to put our perimeter fences inside our property lines 3 feet (again for city sewer and utilities) making it a total 6 feet between fences. If one neighbor takes on mowing that grassy strip, it could be assumed over time, that the one doing the maintenace is the owner. Most disputes could be cleared up by checking dates. Legally, whichever "filed and notoried" documents have the latest date, can be presumed as the definitive.

This is the first time watching your channel, just wanted to give you a little advice for the next time something like this happens. Go to, or get a hold of the local police department where you're contracted. They always have officers that are looking for some overtime. They would be able to stand by the site wherever you need them in full police gear, along with a cruiser. Just them there with the police car and in full uniform would probably deter most people. It doesn't cost a ton of money, and could definitely be worth it if you're having trouble like this again. Every area has a different cost to hire an off duty officer, but I can tell you that it's definitely under $35 an hour, I would even say somewhere around $20 an hour. and then if there's any issues that they end up taking care of, it would be nice to give them a small tip. Good luck with all those crazies out there, I'm sure there's a lot of them!

I’ve been running my new Cat 265 XPS high flow for about a month now. It’s a nice upgrade in most areas, but I think I still prefer my 289d3 or 299d3 to it. I’m going to get a Cimaf 150d for it soon. I’m running a baby Diamond 50” head right now due to the cost and it’s impressive for what it is. I’ve got a few vids on it on my channel if anyone wants to check it out. I definitely know that it’s limited by the head.
