10000% agree. Which is why I don’t pull permits. If a land owner wants it then they can. It is not my responsibility to force a free person to submit to the contract (and punishments) of a corporation operating under color of law. I can actually help my customers defend against tyrannical codes, statues, and any other “rule” the government wants to attack private land owners with. Fun fact: paying property tax is voluntary😂 you don’t have to rent your land from any government ever.

Police have no authority or jurisdiction in land disputes. That looks to be a civil matter, not criminal. Speaking as 50-year experienced Professional Land surveyor, the fact that there was a recent survey is a very good thing. But not knowing all the facts, it seems the two tracts share a common access road. If true, then that neighbor has NO RIGHT to block access to your client's land and that includes your clients' vendors (work crews).

Maybe I missed something.. Can I assume the lady owns the land and your client just has a Right-of-Way (easement) over her land to get to his property? If so, I think it's on your client to get proper permission in writing to alter her land (by adding fill/base material for truck traffic). I'm thinking the Deed will describe the rights your client has in detail. Either way, this isn't the Cops problem unless you can show a court order giving permission to drop dirt on her land, and they fail to act on that order. I could be wrong. Just my opinion.

1. The police were absolutely correct. This is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, so without a court order signed by a judge there's absolutely nothing the police can do about this. 2. You should have done what the gravel driver did the first time this happened, notify the client, tell them this needs to be settled in court, and charge your client for the expense of wasting your time. The fact you did this 3 times is completely on you and not your client because without a court order allowing you access to the property you're screwed.

Borther, ive been seeing couple of your videos. Very good information you give out. I have a welding business in texas, its pretty good been up and running for 5 years now. I have a 3 acre land & decided to buy a skid steer and have been clearing it. One of my guys is really good at clearing so now im thinking of starting a clearing business and transfer my guy over from welding to this clearing side business, we spoke and hes all in for it. He actually use to do clearing for a company way before he got into welding & the guy knows. Your videos help much more to get ideas if just about anything in this business
@LightningFabrication2 ай бұрын
It is called an easement. It's used for ingress and egress, which is a legal right to enter and exit a piece of property. It is spelled out in the legal description and recorded at the court house. It's used if a piece of property is land locked with no public or private road frontage. What I didn't understand is, the cops were there and stated the bad neighbor couldn't block you from entering or exiting the property. So why didn't the dump truck driver dump his load while the cops were there? You could have asked the cops to stay while the driver dumped his load. Well this is a year ago and you've probably moved on.

Hello officer, there’s lied to you to your face. They’re not gonna do nothing. All they won’t do is ride around collector check and always use that civil civil civil after favor word is civil do not want to do their job. Tell him take your badges the guns go back to the office give the badgers up give the guns up and get off the taxpayer payroll if you’re not gonna do your job and stay here and watch it when these people block the road then arrest these people for blocking the road, then will work we can’t work together. If not, then I’m gonna charge against sheriff department for not their election of duty their election of duty Carolyn because they lying to you right out of her mouth.

Maybe called a “private right of way?” The bad neighbours clearly don’t wanna acknowledge things have changed regarding where their property is. And they also probs got used to using the land how they wanted to.

Now you have the 265 - in terms of mulching specifically - how does it stack up to the 259 you used to use?
@TheTreeShop2 ай бұрын
Not even comparable. The 259 wouldn’t like picking up a Blackhawk all day let alone pushing it. The 265 does a decent job pushing it. I’d prefer a smart motor and a 60 inch drum though. I think that would be the sweet spot that makes 74 hp more desirable. Only adds 1.5 hours per acre compared to a 299 D3 XE with Blackhawk

I’m doing some projects over the next few months that require a 74 hp machine ( lol you’ll see why in about 6-10 months on here) and I have plans to get a 285 as soon as it is available and just have the 265 and 285

At least you have working air conditioning. Never understood why so many people have back issues. Every skid steer I have bene in had a hard or destroyed seat and luckily I never suffered any muscle pains. Then again as skinny as I am I doubt there's much muscle do deal with! That discarded fence is a NIGHTMARE! Hit it and suffer getting it out. It's going to be interesting what you get from the hurricane. Bobcat was the first to offer a steel track option on a skid steer. As always a machines worth is the income it produces. New tires do avoid a lot of annoying failures.
