Mahad,pilots do so because putting up flaps after landing reduces lift significantly,which helps slowing down and prevents from becoming airborn again,it is a common practice ,but not all airlines do so. Regards

Yes one year ago I was in same flight from Isb to LHR on 09-10-2011

Last year on 09-10-2011 I was in this aircraft for London n it was my first journey

When I watched this video clip of PK 785 I just recall my memory when I was in this same flight from isb to lhr, same weather same sound of craft and same view....09-10-2011 was the flight day and now 09-20-2012 after a year...... I miss my home country so very much.... Now me here in Ireland, a year ago that was my first experience @aircraft, but now me use-to aircraft by easy jet craft...
