Fantastic video! My main question is - outside of their website's tutorials, what is your best advice for someone new to the Woovebox? I ordered one yesterday night and am very excited. That said, my experience is limited to Maschine by Native Instruments and even then, I never really grasped how to take full advantage of the hardware/software. The learning curve felt a little too overwhelming with other responsibilities on the go, so I only ever did pretty basic things. My thinking is that something portable will be more suitable since Maschine these days is just another thing that requires me being at a desk - which isn't practical.

Cant wait to see more WooveBox tracks from you brother! You are talented regardless the gear you use, love from UK! Would you say the WooveBox is as capable as the OP-Z?

Thank you! I’ve been working on a new Woovebox track that I’ll finish up on my next flight on Sunday! I would say the Woovebox is just as capable as the OP-Z! The workflow may take a little more time to get used to but the Woovebox is really powerful!!

@@GarHoover Wishing you a pleasant flight brother. Looking forward the Woovebox content when it drops. It's a niche device. I've only started using step sequencers - PO-33 loving it. Prefer it over my OP-1 field.. I will wait for the WooveBox stock to come back. Thank you for your reply and for your awesome content!

Thank you! Good samples can make all the difference!
@gutsberserker54762 ай бұрын
Yes sir! Also helps to know what samples fit together. I have been re-visiting your videos, just brought PO-33. I noticed you mainly sample major 7 and 9 chords and the key of A. I would like to get most out of the 40 secs, but sampling chords is a difficult one, I usually sample into the drum kit. You got any tips with the chords? Thanks in advance. Much love from UK

This may be obvious to other people. But.. on the right side. Is a Mic Jack correct? And on the left is a Jack to input sounds? Forgive my lack of PO 33 knowledge. I just got it. There wasn't a manual.
@GarHoover2 ай бұрын
The left side is the audio input which can be used to sample audio onto the PO-33. The right side is the audio out for the PO-33 to listen with headphones or with speakers! It is confusing when the onboard mic is next to the audio output rather than the input!

@17:30 Great insight, "strange love child between pocket operator, and the OPZ". Very useful point about how the pattern resolution can be multiple resolutions overlaid, for the different components of a single pattern...I did not know that (only day 2 for me) and it is handy to understand that. (Video with a name including "Tutorial", mission accomplished, I guess lol.). AND thanks for the Fragments <> Song insight, I was not getting that until now.
