How do you determine roughly how much a rod can lift in general
@slyarsenal3 күн бұрын
It can lift a 75cm king no worries. I know because I've done it
@indosydneyfishing3 күн бұрын
@@slyarsenal that’s insane bro
@slyarsenal3 күн бұрын
@indosydneyfishing I actually wish they made the magnum bullet in 9ft3. Casting 60g is a nice weight on this rod. I like 40-60g lures but the majorcraft crosride 5g is usually my go to for micro jigs between 15-30g

@indosydneyfishing11 күн бұрын
Hey bro, I’ve used the jig in 10 different sessions and hit the rock ledge few times, tiny bruises and decal slightly peeling off which is similar to any jigs in my opinion. It would’ve last a bit longer if we fish in the harbour imho😂

In fairness I think the rod is a bit on the heavy side compared to other fast taper rods from other brands. I love the long stride action that the rod (and its predecessors) produce. However the fatigue is definitely a factor that anglers should consider before placing order

They're great for beach casting too. I throw anywhere from 40g to 80g. You can send these straight into an onshore wind and still get great distance, almost anything will hit then.
