Hi, Thank you for watching the video and taking the time out to share this knowdge here. I appreciate it. I had some questions. When you say all those have the same platform, can you please explain what you mean by the same platform? So anything from 2003 to 2008 should be good. Is either of these better then the other- w220 or w221? I have been doing some homework and seems like I am hearing same what you said, the 2003 and up were made much better as in the the problems from the early years were fixed. I have been told by my mercedes mechanic to avoid the 2007 S550 (w221) since that year has been known for transmission issues. Which Mercedes would you recommend from my list? @meetbhuller6324 with the same platform I mean the same underside ( I don't know how to say it in English) same suspension type, exhaust type , engine type, gearbox, and all other components like electrics etc. Only the upperbody, the metal sort of speak and interior are different. You might want to avoid the air suspension because it can be expensive to fix if it breaks or you can replace it with normal spring suspension. These are the best quality built Mercedes. After 2008, they are using cheap parts

I have noticed the same, they dont make the Mercedes how they used to make them before. It seems like quality is degrading and its becoming more plastic parts vs the older ones like you mentioned. I appreciate everything you shared, I am grateful.

@@mikedekoster6371 Thats a really good car!! I have heard AMG will hold their value better in the long run as well. I just googled the W211 E55 AMG to see a photo and I recognize that car, its a GEM! Its a beautiful and fast car! Love it. I used to own the regular 2004 E320 back in the day but always loved when I saw the AMG ones. Thanks for sharing brother.

The CLS styling is just very beautiful but on the other hand the roomy comfort you get in the S class is very nice and comforting. The s class is basically a land yacht. Hi bro, I apologize for the late response here. So I did some digging around to see if its possible to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius on the W221. I went through some Mercedes Forums online and seems like people were ONLY able to change by either using a scanner or taking the car to the dealer. Here is the forum page that takes about the scanner: mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w221/728040-changing-unit-settings-fahrenheit-celsius-cluster.html I would suggest the following: 1) Hoping on this forum see if someone can share you the details of the "scanner" 2) call your local mechanic that specializes in Mercedes or European Cars and see if they can update that with their computer 3) Lastly, the Mercedes Dealer. I would try the other options first since I do not know what the Dealers would cost to update this. Hopefully this is information is helpful. Best of luck man. Good thing you commented, if any other person reading this comment knows, maybe they can help out on this topic.

Hi, I apologize for the late response here. Yes you are right, most cars have coolant reservoirs with clear low and full marks. For this car, since we are adding coolant directly to the radiator by opening the top cap we would need to monitor the level while adding the coolant. It is possible to overfill the coolant. To avoid overfilling, I like to slowly add coolant and keep checking to see until it's almost full, leaving about an inch of space from the top of the radiator cap and the coolant fluid. Once you've added the coolant, carefully close the radiator cap. As long as you are able to close the cap back on without coolant coming out, you will not run into issues of overfilling. The max fill would be the cap, including the one inch gap. The reason to leave an inch of space between the cap and the coolant fluid is because it allows enough room for excess pressure when the coolant is HOT. I hope this information is helpful.

There is a coolant reservoir on the honda civic 2012. But it's pretty damn useless because A. The deep placement and B. The plastic is so solid white it's almost impossible to see the level without holding a light to it.

Ebay: I have seen for like $75 I would suggest checking on "facebook marketplace" or "offer up". You can probably find a used one for much cheaper. I just typed in "bovee bluetooth" on facebook marketplace and some listings came up near my radius and see some listed for $50, I would honestly try facebook marketplace or offer up and see if you can negotiate to get for more cheaper. The bovee bluetooth adapter work really good with the S550. Best of luck man.
