such boring... but hugely satisfying work DJ, well done. That 306 will outlive you.

Ngl, seeing all this has got me motivated for mine and making the videos again too 😅 absolutely rated the 307cc 302mm brakes when i had them on mine. Did upgrade to 4pots but i specifically designed an adapter so i could stay with the 302mm disks for ease and cheapness

hello, thanks for this video you helped me a lot in the realization of the autosteer project for AgOpenGps. a question instead of the LAN connector can you use the micro usb output of arduino nano? another thing how do I connect the motor afterwards? Thanks and I wait for other interesting videos.

If you're finished welding those metal sheets put a lot of wax, oil and vaseline behind them with a lance. Will nerver rust again. Oh, and park it in the sun so things can spread out nicely

Nice work Darren, that's a really solid shell now. Should hopefully survive our lovely Cornish weather for many years to come! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I like the way you have braced the lift from the shed. I have never liked to rely on concrete anchors only.

Always the same, once you start cutting it's always more than what you think, after years of doing car repairs it may not look to bad but once you get inside or where metal is sat lapped up against another panel it soon spreads between, it's nice to see someone other than me doing the work lol great video buddy.

Better than when I got the screwdriver out on smokey, 6inch patch ended up as an 18+ inch repair on both rear sills and either side of the tank, I should have left the side skirts on, ignorance is bliss 😂😂

Conversely I've only recently found your channel, but it's got me really interested in following your progress, because I really like and appreciate you bringing back a car that was once big in it's scene and putting back to being a useable road going modern classic, and making it more sensible and useable on the road. It's a fitting and moving thing to see a once infamous but later neglected car being bought back to life and given another chance now that it doesn't need to prove anything anymore. More than that it really resonates with me as I have a similar situation with an old Rover 220 coupe, that was well known on the forums back in the days of tuning and modification, but it's now sat too long in a garage, and it needs to be up on a ramp and assessed with what is required to put it back to being a useable not too extreme road car, hopefully in 2025 this will happen for me and the car and see it back at the shows or local car enthusiast meetings.

Been watching since the days of ragging field cars. I had a 106 as a field car myself at the time, so I related to your videos straight away. Fast forward nearly 15 years and I still chime in to see how life in Lobbland is going. Hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. I still use the term “Standard Issue” once or twice a week, I believe it originated from the old days of cold starts of XUDs. Enjoying the videos as always. All the best. Kilkenny, Ireland.

Yep, here since the original 'how to turn up the boost on your kkk or garret' days. My own black ph 1 d turbo project went to scrap after both rear arches, front sills and fuel tank support completely turned to dust. Still own a reg plate from that car and have always adored and missed it. Just sold my last and final 94 cherry d turbo with my original engine from the black one dropped in a few months ago. Always loved these cars, this channel and all you do and teach. Appreciate the revival! Sorry I now only own 1...ahem gti 6. Love this is still going, keep it up!
