Absolutely mint! That looks like a full-on commercial setup now, only with added versatility of the extra features you’ve added. I’ve always fancied doing something similar, time/space/money/noise constraints mean I’ll probably never be able to, but watching you doing it is an excellent substitute!

Superb. I made my calibration bar slightly different. I have a box section running on the top of the brake and a 1.5m box section slides through the centre of it. I zero cell before i fit the cal bracket. Then fit it and I slide the length until reads zero again to null-out the effect of the brackets and arm. Then i measure 1m from the centre line and hang my cal weight from that point. I dont think the software actually bothers about the zero but at least when i show the cell input on the gauges page i can tell if there is any drift. I love the vfd/automation of the fans. I should really set that up. The loudest thing about dynos is the bloody fans😂

Sounds like a good solution, the newer software versions seem to auto-zero the cell on startup to account for differing temps etc.... Yeah i would highly recommend automating the fans, little things like that make such a big difference!

I worked with the guy that made the software to impliment a way of adding load to the dyno when doing your rpm calibration. Be worth checking you've got that update.

With Jose? That sounds like a great addition, I have actually requested that feature in the past... Would be very handy as there's always a bit of slip / deviance with the rpm calc when under load , I don't believe I have that update though and my software is pretty recent unless it's a super new update?

Ah, there would be little point at full chat as the car would be far louder than any fan / extrator at that point...
