Looks interesting, I usually do normal bowing so seeing this is really interesting to see

I think it's a counterweight of some sort. Possibly the weight that holds the sweep back until it is needed.

How many lanes are in that bowling alley?

It would have been nice and easier to follow if the shooter stayed focused on each part of the operation for a while . . . so the viewer could understand it better . . . than jumping all over the place. Damn near dizzying.

One good thing about these kind of machines is that they have less moving parts than the old Brunswick’s

Both Sherman and Brunswick A2 (or even A and Jetback) Pinsetters are built like tanks and will last forever

I don't get how this damage can even be a "thing". I mean … what if the house is really busy, all of the machines are running, and there's a sudden power failure or brownout? Do most or all of the machines sustain damage? Seems like there should have been some failsafe.

That looks like a makeshift pin feeder. Pretty ingenious and much needed as Sherman parts are quickly getting more and more scarce

Mr Mike your "ENTER" key on lane 19 no longer works, and it is now impossible to correct the score or replay a frame on that lane.

The old Shermans aren't worth it anymore physically. We need to invent new pinsetter machines for duckpins with a self automatic reset & deadwood removal systems like in tenpins in order to try to save the ducks. Even though we can't play a perfect game in duckpins. But the NDPBC Sanctions must continue the free-fall pinsetting policy.
@coasterp21998 жыл бұрын
Are there new duckpin centers opening or are the current ones just being maintained? If centers aren't being opened is it because of no new machines being available? I actually think duckpins could be very popular again. The statement it's so old, it's new again applies here in my opinion.
@ryanlepore30588 жыл бұрын
I hope hard-bellied duckpin allies will rebound again. But I heard a while back some man from Lowell, MA was thinking, or maybe planning to invest a new alley in Massachusetts. But I think new pinsetter machines for these duckpins should include a self-automatic deadwood removal & reset system like in tenpins to make life easier for bowling. Candlepins has it. And the NDPBC should continue the free-fall pinsetting system. That way not only it's the true game, but it's also the only way to use colored prize pins in them. Collin's Bowladrome in Billerica used red prize pins always.

Thank you for all your work during states! I'd thought I'd let you know, however, that your table on 20 consistently had pins swinging back and forth on their way down, and it caused my team and another team to have to reset often, sometimes even 2 or 3 times in a row. 19 and 20 is my favorite pair, I hope the rack could be adjusted!
@mikedavidson68258 жыл бұрын
actually it's because those 2 machines shake back and forth here lately. having a hard time trying to figure out how to anchor them down to the building better.if you could see them front the back you could see that the entire machine,frame and all move sideways slightly when resetting.even tried anchoring them to the adjacent machines but it had little effect.thanks for contacting me i wish more people would do the same.since i don't hang out up front and dont get to see what the the bowlers see,input from bowlers is always welcome.helps me take care of little problems that i cannot see from the rear.thanks again.

you are absolutely right.if i was standing on the other side of the machine it would have been much worse.being on the 10 pin side allowed me to use my right hand to slow the machine down enough to get my left out before it got completely eaten.😊
