I did a major destash/cleaning/organizing a couple of years ago along with 2 quilting buddies. It made staying on track easier with others doing the same thing. We held each other accountable by sharing before and after pictures of certain areas we worked on each week. It's a lot of work but oh so worth it after finished. It definitely made me rethink how I buy fabric now after I saw how much I truly have. I'm much more selective of what I buy.

Thanks for the Four Bits! I made the 30 rows and it looks great. I had however 12 rows measuring 50.75 inches and 18 rows ar 48.25". Not sure how that happened. I was thinking of adding and extra 2.5" to the 18 rows particularly since i have the fabric...but maybe I should just trim it up since it may cause too many 2.5' seams lining up with each other..which i know you were trying to avoid. Is there a galery to post our quilts? curious to see everyones!

I completed all the strips and found that on laying them out, 12 are 2.5 inches longer than the other 18. So I have 18 rows at about 48.25” And 12 rows that are about 50.75”. I took the dimensions from the graph you posted regarding the 10 steps. What was your final dimension? Either I add 18 more 2.5” blocks or square it up. Janet

@TrueBlueQuilts25 күн бұрын
I gave you the total number of pieces to cut of each size with the first number. The full set just means if you cut one of each strip from a jelly roll package, then you would cut the +X again to get the total number of pieces. However you get to that total number is fine! The design allows for lots of variation. Thanks for joining us!
