I love a good mystery quilt but I downloaded the cutting instructions and -- without mentioning any numbers -- don't understand what is meant by "full set plus X" I guess I can wait until tomorrow after the reveal to figure it out. Thanks.
@TrueBlueQuilts19 күн бұрын
I gave you the total number of pieces to cut of each size with the first number. The full set just means if you cut one of each strip from a jelly roll package, then you would cut the +X again to get the total number of pieces. However you get to that total number is fine! The design allows for lots of variation. Thanks for joining us!

@@TrueBlueQuilts Oh ok so the "plus X" is where you would cut from a duplicate. I get it now; thanks for explaining.

I completed all the strips and found that on laying them out, 12 are 2.5 inches longer than the other 18. So I have 18 rows at about 48.25” And 12 rows that are about 50.75”. I took the dimensions from the graph you posted regarding the 10 steps. What was your final dimension? Either I add 18 more 2.5” blocks or square it up. Janet
@TrueBlueQuilts17 күн бұрын
@@violin897 I miscalculated on some of the rows. For my own quilt, I decided to add another square to the shorter rows so they were all closer to 50”. Your choice on how to make it even!
