Great video! But for clarity the new gauges started in 90 and I think ony the Z51 with the sport rear diff had 250 hp.

Correct I made a few mistakes in that video. 1990 definitely had the later tech gauges.

I'm almost at the end of the video where you're driving it, and I got to say, what an incredible car and I thoroughly enjoyed all the knowledge and upgrades you shared on your Corvette. I only drove one once. It was a friend's girlfriend's 1999 Corvette that was only three years old at the time. I had six cars and three motorcycles and drove plenty of other people's cars and the Corvette was the most responsive car I ever drove in every way. Throttle, steering, brakes, nothing else was as responsive as that Corvette. I haven't been able to drive at all for twenty years now because of my eyes. I have retinitis pigmentosa and every year Wills Eye Hospital says the technology is getting better and maybe next year. Hopefully this year will be the year. Speed was like a high for me and I miss driving and riding. I'm always looking at what I want when I can get behind the wheel again. A C4 Corvette seems like a good option for me. And I would like to do a few things like that accumulator. Having 30 pounds of pressure before starting the car is definitely great for the engine. As well as an oil cooler. Anyway enough of my rambling. Awesome Corvette you have there and I love the upgrades.

I let the transmission and differential lore keep me from doing a lot of fun stuff. Then I see people wheels up with stock diffs and 4l60s. If it does break, it's cheap and easy (relatively) to work on. There are 700s with drag tires and turbos.

Lovely truck - awesome color and fit and finish! Some info: Rear axle ratio: 3.90 Juniper Green was the color on ‘54; the hub caps were painted blue in the center from the factory 6ply - 16” tires were just over 30” tall, which allows you to run 55 … pushing it at 65

The DN 4+3 is a Borg-Warner Super T-10 with the Doug Nash OD unit in place of the tailshaft housing. It is actually a 2-speed unit [direct and overdrive]. The OD unit is designed to automatically engage in 2nd/3rd/4th gear under low RPM/light-torque cruising around town. This trans was strictly for fuel mileage. It can be shifted 1st, 2nd, 2nd OD, 3rd, 3rd OD, 4th, 4th OD; hence the 7-speeds. The ZF-6 debuted in 1989, not 1998 as you mis-spoke.

I'm wondering when he will get the BSM body kit from japan and the ducktail on the back to complete the look. And there's absolutely no excuses this car shouldn't be capable of 220 MPH. C4's were doing Bugatti speeds before Bugatti, Hennessy, Koeniggsegg and the rest of them.

Little fun fact in 1996 all 6 speeds came with the LT4 all automatics came with the LT1 big difference in engines especially beings the LT4's are underrated by 20 / 30 and 40 bhp in some cases 😮 because Chevy didn't want to make the LS1 look bad which was on it's way in 1997

@@Pipe-Baccy-Happiness definitely headers off road pipes & high flow mufflers first it will sound absolutely fantastic loud and nasty if your lucky u could grab from 25 to 35 more bhp could do a cold air intake throttle body high flow mass air sensor underdrive pullies just to start that should add even more bhp and they are mods that don't require digging into the engine but after u get all that you will need a tune to maximize it get your fuel/air/timing right
