@@ciobotarubogdan9730 Ta! going out to put it all into practise (just pads) - maybe your vid should include instruction to loosen the fluid reservoir and to put rags for overflow? (and reminder to re-screw lid I guess!)

Having now done the pads, with the confidence this video gave me, may I add that if you are careful and sensible you can gently and slowly prise the piston back with a very long pry bar/beefy screwdriver by inserting same between disc and old pad (bit of plastic to protect disc surface. Quite a bit of juggling for access, could be worth turning wheel slightly beforehand and you must be patient and must loosen main reservoir cap and wrap old rag around it in case fluid rises too much (keep checking). One of those rare times the manufacturer actually made a task straightforward! Also be aware that there are different pad shapes, got mine from giving registration but they clearly didn't fit, found an assistant who was dilligent enough to track down correct profile.

@@ciobotarubogdan9730 the problem is that the sender pump in the tank only operates for a few seconds, which is insufficient to push fuel to the HPFP and back to the tank, which is needed to purge the system of air. Airlocks mean the HPFP is not lubricated for a few seconds which, on some cars, can be catastrophic. I am not sure what HPFP's are used on these 1.5 dCi's. Maybe/hopefully it can run dry without damage for a short period...
