Risking heresy here, however, this compilation is the most satisfying Van Morrison release. It prodded me to explore his proper albums, which for the most part, are wonderful. I doubt anyone can create a better set list than this.

If ever I was stranded in an island and had one artist to listen to it would be Van Morrison. He evokes all the right feelings and emotions. His music has transcended different eras and has stood the test of time. His music is as sweet as Tupelo honey.
