Set the nest size to max, the distance between nest to minimum. Save. Then use RSO to get some more. It's been a while, so I can't really tell exactly how I did it. But you need RSO.

It is obviously pointless to manually clear biters. Leave it to artillery.

Honestly really impressed over ur aim that is insane. I know the basic answer it ”years and years of practice” But do u have any suggestion on how i can get this good? This is seriously mad. I am a really good pilot but my gunning is chaotic. I usally hit 1 out of like 10 shots. I know u also cut the videos to only when you hit the shots but feels like u are pretty frequrent with it.

A2G ESFs hovering over bases are good target practice for long shots. Fly high, straight over the base so they are under you. For short range, I'd suggest kiting. If an ESF attacks you, roll to your favorite side and make them follow you. Unexperienced ESF pilots will follow you in a straight line. But these are just ideas. I never practiced in that sense, but just played the game. I'm afraid you're right. It's just practice and experience. But you'll get there. As long as you continue to strive to getting better and like the challenge, you have all you need. Well, good keybinds and finding the right mouse sense helps. ; ) good hunting!

Only error I can see: no fall-back position. Always set up a few turrets just outside aggro range so you have somewhere to run to if you start getting overwhelmed.

I made the misfortunate mistake of adding an “npc energy shields” mod because I wanted a challenge and the vanilla ships became impervious to everything, it was like fighting the aliens from war of the worlds, everything we hit them with would just scratch the shields the mod gave them

Ha ^^ Awesome! : ) I gave these enemies shields by using ME to replace blocks with shield gens. But they couldn't generate enough energy. Will start my next playthrough when the PVE update comes out. Too bad the guy who made modular encounters stopped working on the mod.

Great dalton shooting man that thing is a hard beast to tame easily one of the hardest things to pull off in the game . A good lib pilot can be devastating on Auraxis. That last clip is madness what the hell haha .

Is game performance significantly different on Linux than on Windows? Doesn't the input lag seem to have decreased?

Performance is great. Couldn't tell a difference from Win. But I'm old and not a Quake player anymore. I feel Nobara is even faster. But I'm going to test the performance in Star Citizen this weekend.

Yeah man there are a lot of gamers moving to various Linux distros. Most of the distros you don't need to know loads of terminal stuff so it's not that hard to get things working . Even Arch have recently made a graphical "easy install" apparently. People really hate windows these days more than ever and with good reasons .

You should use flamethrower turrets, they are much more efficient than lasers on large groups.

the problem with flamethrowers is that they burn repair bots when they go to fix walls while the flamethrowers are still shooting biters

Very annoying feature, there is a fireproof robot mod. It's up to personal preference if you consider that to unfair or not, but playing SE with robot attrition I wouldn't IMO@@_cnapta
