I really love that your home is decorated in mostly thrifted, vintage or homemade items! It’s so inspiring to be encouraged to look outside the box stores and really add things to our homes with meaning. ❤

It’s interesting that you talked about parenting and not necessarily knowing your path. I had the same struggle. Despite numerous people telling me that I “never worked a job” I realized that now that my kiddos are grown……they turned out to be superb humans who recollect about their fun childhood and how so many of their friends loved coming to our house. Those friends parents were working back then. I will tell you……my family, the children and the house were my purpose and I worked damn hard at it. And you know what? I didn’t work “a job.” I’d never equate my family as that. It was my pleasure to have my family live their best lives, laughing and smiling about all of the traditions, morals and values that they now have. May you feel enormous pride and pleasure in serving your family. 😊

Hi Jesse ❤ So lovely to hear you speak into the camera, you have a beautiful voice and such a lovely way to tell a story not to mention you are so beautiful❤ Thank you for sharing some of your thoughts and moments you have had years ago and I agree that as Homemakers we often have these emotions. But there is no comparable job to raising a family and teaching them the skills to be independent and enjoy these gifts. Your family is truly blessed to have you, you are such an artist and a poet as well. Have a wonderful week my fellow Hoya loving friend 💚

It's always uplifting to see a new Ozark Dwellers video! You have such an artistic flair in all things home! I love your inspiring ideas. ❤ I also love seeing that sweet baby smile! I was wondering what your design decision process is like. I seem to have a hard time making decisions whether I'm thrifting or antiquing. I love how you display things and the functionality of the beautiful pieces! God bless you and your family!

Well hey there girlfriend 🤗 I’ve got to tell u u really hit home w/ me today! I was 19 when I first married & had my first baby. So young & innocent 😙 I was a stay at home mom for the first 17 yrs & felt like all I was good for was cleaning, cooking etc hadn’t dawned on me yet how privileged I was. The next chapter of raising my last 2 babies I was older & wiser & had figured out all the blessings of a stay at home mom. I did wk 3 hrs a day at my kids school & fell n love. The joys of being there when my kids got home fr school was not only a blast. I do want to say to parents that have to wk outside the home I saw first hand how u can b the best parent when u take the time to b there to listen & truly enjoy ur children. I also want to say I loved how ur video seemed even more personal showing ur face talking to all of us 👍🏼🥰 I’ve said this before & I’ll say it again u have to b one of the most talented people I’ve ever seen!!! I’ve been told that I decorate my home nicely & when something’s easy I think well anyone can do it but when u can’t it’s hard if that makes any sense. U make everything look so easy b/c ur so talented but us regular old people it’s hard 😂😂😂😂 we’ll Jessie THANK U for another awesome video into ur world I love ur ❤

Being able to stay at home and raise your babies is a gift. I was a stay at home Mom and wouldn't have changed a thing. I was also taking care of the office side of our business but on my own time. Things could wait if I needed to chaperone a school field trip. Making a comfortable home for family is important for all. Maybe you'll get Abe done by President's Day!

Portraits can be a great source of inspiration and imagination. Even if they don't depict our ancestors, we can create our own stories and tales based on them.
