Awe, when I saw you putting up the garlands with the dark red ribbon and also mentioning Charles Dickens, I was reminded of one of my favourite movies ever : "Little Women", with Wynona Rider as Jo. I just adore that version. I love the way they decorated their home for Christmas. Jo even mentions "Dickens " in the movie when she urges Lori to take his "Dombey and Son" to Harvard with him, lol. Everything you do to decorate and the colors are just perfect in my book. I love the more subtle softer red; just not a fan of Santa or fire engine red. The mexican wedding cookies are one of our favorites and have been making them for years. My Mother in law used to shape them into little crescents for something a bit different. Whatever content you want to show us I am on board; love it all.

Absolutely to mexican wedding cookies also known as russian tea balls i believe. I totally get the practicality of faux greenery... you can always tuck in fresh trimmings then replace as they get crunchy to get that fresh pine smell. My local tree lot lets me grab as much as i can cart away for free. I'm pretty sure they all do. That burgandy shade is really growing on me. It's so luxe feeling/looking. Looks so festive already!

Oh, I hear you! I was worried I would miss the smell etc, but the Christmas tree covers that and is also a reminder every time the needles fall as to why I don’t choose fresh throughout 😆 I will say, they are getting a lot better at making it look more authentic. 😊

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I can be a bit of a grammar Nazi, but irregardless is not a proper word. That was drilled into me by the School Sisters of St. Francis from grade school to college. I remember in college I was doing an oral presentation in front of the class and I said "irregardless" and knew immediately my faux pas but I didn't want to stop my presentation to correct myself. The professor (a School Sister of St. Francis) chastised me in front of the class. You can bet I learned to never say it again! This was the second time I heard you say it in another video and felt compelled to pass on that lesson from the Sisters! 😃 Love your channel, your creativity, serenity, and style!

English is not my native language, and I’ve been the victim of grammar correction quite a few times, so it still irks me on other people’s behalf. Good morning Jessie 🤗 what a job u did on ur railing & it turned out beyond beautiful 👍🏼❤️ I did my headboard yesterday w/ green garland & it looks like the same frayed ribbon u used. All I can say is it took me most of the day to complete this task 😂😂😂 but it does look beautiful. I love how u did ur mantel w/ stockings & garland. U always do a little something just a bit different that just adds that magic touch. I love the color u chose & the blanket u “stole” fr the kids all looks sooo lovely.
