But sometimes I find it a little too rough so wanted to look at the Academy but from the looks of this I am not sure it might be a bit too smooth for me. I guess I will order a trial pack and make sure. thanks a lot.

Does anyone know anything about bao hong? I would rather support a business that I can get behind, rather than go for something cheaper just because it’s cheaper, so please let me know 🙏 Ofc I understand financial constraints that can’t be helped sometimes, but I personally would rather skip a cup of coffee than to support “made cheaper, don’t care how” into the art community if possible…because this is one community that should understand the value of quality and artistry. This is how companies with history and legacies die, bc other places are able to cut whatever corners to make it cheaper.

Thank you for this tutorial. I loved watching you work in putting down your paint and also picking up the color. I loved that you made a few mistakes and just rolled with it. Perfection is over rated and it's good to see someone not berate yourself. Your tecnique is really helpful and it finally makes sense as a beginner. I am going to try this soonest- hopefully tomorrow!
