Great tutorial Erin, I'm like you and usually just add stems to each flower. Added all the flowers to the same stem really changes the look of the painting.

The second does not seem any looser than the first.

Hi Mary, I think you misunderstood the difference. It’s not an exercise in trying to paint looser. It is stepping away from the tendency to paint single flowers & stems. Instead, I am painting one stem with multiple flower heads; which can tend to have more movement and a nice organic feel. I hope that helps😊
