the fact that JB Danquah is always pinned against Nkrumah is laughable to say the least. Why don't we discuss Paa Grant as much who was the financier of the UGCC to begin with. JB Danquah wasnt even the second in rank in the UGCC.

Clearly , the UP , Danquah squad wanted to lead the independence front and keep the interest of the British in the gold coast . The UGCC just wanted to have independence for a zone that signed that bond of 1844 . Nkrumah had a bigger plan roping in the Ashanti land , northern areas and the transvolta togo land . No wonder they hate Nkrumah that much for changing the plan . They felt Ghana was their birthright.. It wont fetch

I think you are missing the point. This conversation isn’t about any competition between Ghana and Nigeria, it’s simply about the authenticity of the sounds of Ghanaian artists compared to Nigerian artists. Nigerian artists have gone further because of how original they are with their culture and sound. You should simply get this sir. 🤝

I don’t think you’re getting me sir. But I respect your opinion too though. I believe we all are work in progress, I kind of sound American cuz but I do not skew my Ghanaian languages when I’m speaking them. English however is a universal language so it can be identified easily with how you deliver it. There’s clear distinction between foreign English and African English.
