seems like it will operate as Meadville's yard switcher, right now it looks like 427, 435, and 421 will work around the Meadville area, and 426, 430, 431, and 432 as well as the AC6000's will work around Olean

Did you hear the news? The WNYP will no longer be running freight from Meadville to Falconer? The line is deactivated indefinitely between Saegertown and Jamestown, but will be maintained to a minimal degree in case it needs brought back online.

Yes, I saw that. It's surprising considering the amount of track work that was recently done on that segment . I knew the Alcos were on borrowed time but I didn't think the trains were.

Thanks, this week the train was several hours later than normal, usually I can only catch the westbound when I get out of work as it goes through Celeron and Lakewood
