It looks like the Nepali tourist authorities have created more "tourist friendly" paths where before they were poorly maintained, so perhaps the old path markings you've seen are confusing.

One of the best Annapurna Circuit trek vlogs I've seen thus far! This is in our bucket list. I'd have to agree w/what some others in your earlier videos commented to not include the background music.
