Pokhara international airport is going to operate from January. So you could start trek asap and avoid the hassle of travelling kath-pokh. 🙏

Mixed blessing. Things will change rapidly and I think many will be spared the kidney splitting bus ride from KTM, but will.missbout on the cultural splendors of Kathmandu. Boudahnath, pushapathi, swayambuh, Bhaktapur.......the food, the chaos the people. Nepal is so rich in so many ways.... it is not merely a treking destination. Just my opinion. And there is the far East and far west which offer tiny remote villages, culture, Tibetan influence and a more authentic adventure for those whom wish to getvtheir nose out of the guide book and have a bit more time to be curious. Nepal is just jaw droppingly amazing and never disappoints me. 🙏❤🙏
