The only reason I’m thinking of taking mine back is BECAUSE the V neck hurts my thumb! Can I sand it down? There is a metal body 14 fretter from Recording King Guitars that I am waiting on called the Swamp Dog. The KZbin demos look and sound great. It’s just that they are so heavy! Lol You will do well with your resonator…I can tell! Thanks! 😊

I'm not crazy about the sharp V neck either! I don't if I have the skill to sand it down without destroying it, though.😬 I hope the Recording King works for you. I have one of their lap steel guitars and like it.

Musicians Friend just tried to whip the same game on me. I bought the H7 online and the next day they said they were going to ship mine from a Dallas Guitar Center but not in a Sire box. I remember seeing your video. They said it was a floor model. I told them send me one from the Musicians Friend warehouse. I said it was wrong to sell me a demo guitar as new. We’ll see.

A floor model should be identified as such, and discounted! Good luck with it.

is that a add on top of the normal nut or a whole new nut?

No change to the nut or the bridge. The bender goes right behind the bridge and affects just the B and G strings

What is the most useful intervall to fix : half step for the B and one step for the G? (to play classic country licks)?
@barthydemusic
@barthydemusic Ай бұрын
I use a half step on the G and a whole step on the B. That allows you to bend from a 1 chord to a 4 chord.

Ha, you're earning way more than I ever did and I've had my channel for over 12 years. So many people think it's an easy way to make money but you might as well buy a lottery ticket. More aspiring creators should know the truth and not have unrealistic expectations. Thanks for putting the truth out there.

Even though I know the notes, I've been struggling with coming up with entertaining licks from the major pentatonic. Sliding up to the third and adding the fourth opened the floodgate to the Allman feel. The licks write themselves. Thanks so much for this.
