Should put a weight on the back
@kieranwalsh148Ай бұрын
We had one for it but it was too big so it ended up putting on more pressure rather than helping and if you keep the forks small its grand. A smaller weight would make a big difference to it though

Nice one ,the leyland sounds great ,hope to put a loader back on our 272 ,what way is the setup for the loader ,just wondering 🤔
@kieranwalsh1482 ай бұрын
All thats in ours is a hydraulic block with 3 levers and theres 1 pipe for up and down and then 2 pipes for tilting the forks up and down. Theres a pipe running from the top of the back axle up to the controls to provide oil and the lever on the right hand side is put into the lock position to let the oil flow

Made it out of a length of round bar just cut an angle about 6 inches from top turned it around and welded it

Still doing a good job,and looked after will continue to do,also these machines seem to be cheaper to buy at classic sails than some makes.

Its the go to machine for me, just turn the key and away it goes. No electrics to cause problems and it always stays going.

Doing a fine job, did ye get the chassis repaired?
@kieranwalsh1484 ай бұрын
Ye i just braced up along both sides on the inside and the outside and then put a flat plate in the centre. It should hold up for another season and then hopefully we will get some new kit

I've a similar machine , why is drum up on top?
@kieranwalsh1487 ай бұрын
Theres a leak in the bottom of the radiator so we just kept a drum with coolant close and kept topping it up
@jamesswanton93777 ай бұрын
I just thought ud a problem with airlocks cause that was a big problem with them ford engines and all of them had the sedement bowl disconnected but I found out what the problem was, the sedement bowl was connected the wrong way round it should have been connected the other way round making sure that none return valve was moved to other side.
@jamesswanton93777 ай бұрын
That was a mistake that was made in the factory first day and as well as that all them engines were running 3 litres of oil low cause all the dipsticks were marked in USA gallons
@kieranwalsh1487 ай бұрын
The sediment bowl was bypassed on ours before we bought it and i say that is why, we havent had any problems or signs of airlocking with it either
@kieranwalsh1487 ай бұрын
Thanks for letting me know i would say ours is 3 litres of oil low because we serviced it and went by the dipstick
