Do you find that the glue messes up your needle over time ?
@LibsElliottАй бұрын
It's such a fine layer of glue that it's dry by the time you sew it. So it doesn't mess up you needle which is a huge bonus!

I use this type of binding on mug rugs and table runners mostly. Easy to do.

I have an older rotary cutter with a dull blade that I use on paper. I can’t sew with shoes on either!😊

love it, wish you had shared the pattern. My problem is I can't put colors together and when I do what pattern to use. I sit frozen for hours, can't make a decision.

The pattern was part of a block of the month that I’ll be running again this year. If you sign up for my newsletter, you’ll hear the details when I announce it. Sign up at www.libselliott.com

Is that a pentagram

No, a pentagram is a 5-pointed star set inside a circle.

Golly I thought I was doing it wrong! Took a class in this and it was so awkward with their method, but you and I have been doing it right all along. You just authenticated my method and yours it can be done either way. A million ways to do a simple pattern.

For the first time that’s a method I understand! Thanks for the video. I’m a very bad at math so this is amazing

Ok - so when I did the sewing and the ironing, I found my blocks were a bit wonky and not easy to make 4.5" again. I had to spray starch and stretch. What do you think I might have done wrong? I checked that each rectangle now triangle overlapped as you did.

This was really helpful, I thought I knew what to do when I read the directions but thought.. knowing myself and what I'm about.. I should probably watch the explanation to be sure. Really glad I did because I was not right. Thanks!

This is very neat. I love that you have been doing this for some time…and the markings between are much like the markings on traditional clothing patterns. (Think McCalls, Simplicity, etc.), so great idea and great results, too
