Foundation Piecing with Freezer Paper - The Libs Method

In this video I'm going to show you my method of freezer paper piecing. This method has you trace out your template at actual size onto the freezer paper, without seam allowance. Then you'll cut out each section of paper, secure it to fabric with your iron, then trim and sew the sections back together. Golly I thought I was doing it wrong! Took a class in this and it was so awkward with their method, but you and I have been doing it right all along. You just authenticated my method and yours it can be done either way. A million ways to do a simple pattern.

This is very neat. I love that you have been doing this for some time…and the markings between are much like the markings on traditional clothing patterns. (Think McCalls, Simplicity, etc.), so great idea and great results, too

I have an older rotary cutter with a dull blade that I use on paper. I can’t sew with shoes on either!😊
