Fighting many uphill battles, Joycelyn navigated through many obstacles to become director of Arkansas Department of Health. I love her inspiration and motivation.

So what happened to the doctors who withheld treatment ?.?. What happened to the twisted people at the CDC who insisted the program continue ?? And now in 2020 -2022 informed consent seems to be a thing of the past. The biggest experiment in history took place, not just black peoples , the whole world … god bless the poor souls in the Tuskegee experiment and the ones suffering today

I have come to realize that my daughter's stillbirth at 32 weeks due to pregnancy related thrombophelia was evident in my symptoms and was ignored by my family doctor. Through research I have come to understand that the severe pain and swelling I had been experiencing in my hands and arms which started in my sixth month was actually symptoms of the blood clots due to the thrombophelia but numerous calls and visits to my family doctor were not seen as anything serious and I was sent home never knowing that all the time my placenta was slowly dying day by day from a lack of proper blood flow causing a depleted oxygen to my unborn baby girl Cara-Lei. This ultimately resulted in me going into labor at 32 weeks and after being told by medical professionals in triage of labor and delivery, "I'm sorry there's no heartbeat", I delivered my lifeless little girl a day later on March 21st 2009. The findings of her death was discovered through examination of only her placenta as we chose to keep her body untouched through autopsy. The exam of her placenta and looking back on ultrasounds done before her death showed an obvious deterioration of one side of the placenta giving understanding as to why the umbilical cord was on the edge if the placenta when she was delivered. Knowing that my doctor gave me very poor care has made me so upset and I plan on speaking to the high risk section of the hospital to see if anything can be done about this negligence

We should all understand how special Jocelyn Elders was because she cared about Americans health. When Trump came into office with no health care plan and all the time trying to get rid of Obamacare just prior to this epidemic he told American people that he would have a health care plan for us in his second Administration. Another words we will have to elect him and it will order to get a health care plan for American people. Now that America is in this pandemic you see Trump caring about the economy/ stock market more than American People's Health. You are ahead of your time Dr Jocelyn Elders I will never forget you. My science classroom is named after you. We love you Jocelyn thank you for taking care of us.

Climate change...The most pressing problem facing us right now?? Seriously? I'd say it premium prices for health care coverage, continues to go up and the cost of medical devices and medications caused by high-deductible health plans and corporate greed
