that medium green quarter-round brick is Belville, not paradisa. I wish I had more letter tiles. they look good as signage

all tiled up looks so smooth and clean. the back of that station is masonry bricks done right. some people use masonry bricks in awkward places that get overbearing IMO. you need a "SPACE" counter in your videos

the corrugated 1x6x5 panels are harder to get than the regular versions. that bus station is the same colour as the market street that alex sold haha

There’s a big bus depot downtown in my city. Both intrastate and interstate buses stop there. Other bus companies besides Greyhound operate there. This MOC is more fancier than mine in real life

He's only half as expensive as a sealed monorail, but he's all I need to complete my Rock Raiders collection, which is more personally meaningful to me than the monorail.

I've been ponderg which set I would steal from the Vault. I think it would have to be the Santa Fe Super Chief with all the different variants of cars. Mostly because I would love one but am never going to be able to justify buying it for myself. I don't even have any SPACE for a train layout now!!

I love Duplo for a lot of reasons. I grew up with a much bigger collection of them than Lego, so I have lots of memories with them. I have what I call second hand nostalgia from playing with them with my kids as they grew up and seeing how much joy they brought us. I then used them to build things for my daughter to play with while the kids were at their dad's and she would come home to giant builds. I also am like Jabo, it's a niche market so easier to get things. Thrift stores have way more of them. I also like the visual impact that it gives a moc and it makes the build whimsical, interesting, and challenging due to limited parts compared to Lego.

Well all Bricktsars popular videos was 9-12 years ago.. that won't happen again

I assume the vault sets are sealed right? In that case, rather than getting a set I’d want to build like the Futuron monorail, I’d rather have a sealed copy of a set I already have. The two biggest sets I had as a kid were the imperial trading post and black knights castle so I’d probably grab one of those. Lifting up those flaps would bring back a lot of memories.

+1 on the DUPLO niche. Picked it up last year and planning maybe one large DUPLO MOC a year. Last year was a lighthouse nearly 3” tall. Looking around on IG, there are very few DUPLO MOC builders, but the ones there are all in!!

Sorry, but there's no way I'd ever pay some stupid price like $60+ for a 1" plastic replica of a goat. I probably have over 20 and they cost me about a quarter each and I'm ok with them not being authentic. No one looking at my diorama is going to care or know.

Some people are just douches when they know there's no tracking. I know it may not be good for sales, but expensive or hard to find items should always be shipped with tracking. Now, having said that, I know the postal company can make "mistakes" and things can get lost. I've learned my lesson buying from Ali Express. I now always select a tracked shipping option. Haven't "lost" an order since.

It always amazes me the weird ways and different things people use to ship collectables. Here is an 30+ year old valuable pop culture artifact being shipped to a different continent. Place it in a food container, it'll be fine.
