The m16 problems was due to a few things. But the main was that the ejection case was not chroned it needed to be crowned and it got built up in with jam

The original m 16 jammed because of the conditions. After the guns got chrome lined chambers and bores, then they had earned the name of the sweet sixteens.

They don't make Americans like this anymore. I listen to a man like this, and then I think of the woke pukes that feed off of their efforts like leeches, and I feel betrayed.

Those Vietnamese giant centipedes are no joke. I saw one in the Mekong Delta just a few weeks ago. It was as long as my forearm. My Vietnamese mother-in-law was bitten by one a few years ago and she cried in pain for 3 days. They eat frogs and snakes. Very nasty and scary creatures.

Refreshing to hear his humility when arriving in country of how they were surrounded by older vets who knew the ropes and thought it wise to heed their advice. My grandfather was a WW2 and Korean combat vet (82ndAA/505thPIR) and spoke of the "headless heros" what he called them. Basically new guys or replacements that thought they had it figured out and ended up "headless" or KIA because of ego. He also used to say "having a big head in combat makes for a larger target" I thank this man and the interviewers uncle, as well as all that served in combat for their sacrifice....and that includes the "headless heros"!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

A healing question that logically answers itself, in the form of protective ammo & armor, can be found in the late Leonard Cohen's mindset... ''How can I begin anything new, with all of yesterday still in me ?'' In heartfelt support: ''There are none closer to - the very Author of pain & sacrifice ^itself. Than those who choose to - perform ^it for the sake & safety of others. How much more then: Those Wounded Living Sacrifices Who's performing ^it 24 - 7 ?'' So let ^it be known. So let ^it be done. So let ^it be covered by His Red Shed Blood ...tTt... ///^it\\\ ~Former U.S. Paratrooper Sgt William 'Rock' Gilpin 82nd Abn Div.1/504. Half a century ago '71- '74 Currently: Just another one of those many one's of... ''We His Believer's'' Who's eagerly waiting & watching for '.' His✝Just⚖Return🪃'.'

My dad went through the dhit in the Pacific, my best friend in Panama and Gulf1 now morefamily in 'harms way'. Again, thanks to all for sharing. Every Marine and Army grunt must see this.

Holidays... I was strap hanging with a recon team of FOB2, summer of 68. We had spent the night about 50 feet off a trail(in Vietnam, not across the fence). The 1-0 had just lit a tiny bit of C-4 to heat his coffee. We immediately heard voices on the trail, and we went to ground. A fast mover(jet) had recently passed nearby, but no problem. Until someone dropped a cluster bomb on the far side of the trail. Nothing hit us. But we got on all the radios we had and ask anyone to stop the bombing. While we waited, the RTO at FOB2 said. "Oh, by the way, Happy Easter." the bombing (just the one cluster bomb) stopped. Some time later, we continued on our mission.
