For Generations among Generations Success With Honor has been our calling card Greatness has been earned throughout our great and illustrious history And this type of greatness has been passed down from one generation to another From JoePa to James Franklin From Todd Blackledge, John Shaffer and Kerry Collins, to Trace McSorley, Sean Clifford, and Drew Allar From Franco and Lydell to Ki-Jana in 94, LJ2K in 02 and Saquan, to Nick the Quick and Kaytron From Jack Ham and Shane Conlan to Micah Parsons and Abdul Carter From Hail to the Lion and Fight On State to Zombie Nation and Mo Bamba Football, Family, and Traditions have always connected State College over the years When you put on the Blue and White Theres a responsibility that comes with it You must not only embrace those that came before you But you must follow in their footsteps while creating your own legacy And for games like this With the greatest players and teams that our school has had to offer watching from a distance And in front of the Greatest Show in College Sports Those emotions of both pride and excitement will come pouring out Both on the field at Beaver Stadium And in the stands of 110,000 people You can hate us or love us You can be a stranger or a diehard You can be a student, or a long time season ticket holder You can be optimistic or worried This is what its like to be a part of Penn State Football This is what its like to be a part of the culture of PSU as a whole And if anyone wants to agrue about what our Generations of Greatness Traditions are all about There are only two words that answer that question…………………… WE ARE! “PENN STATE!”

I used to run into Joe walking around campus...we always had a nice little chat. He was assistant coach when I was an undergraduate... (Class of 1962)...PSU was smaller then. What a great guy...an inspiration. He really built the place...when he walked into the room, everybody was filled with pride and a willingness to help the school. When he asked for money to build a library or something, everybody gave as much as they could. I still have my Wheaties cereal box with his picture on it.

Fail. Do some research, don't just read the clickbait headlines. Linda Kelly | Pennsylvania Attorney General: "Joe Paterno did the right thing and reported an eye-witness report of child sex abuse by Jerry Sandusky in the football locker room. Paterno handled himself appropriately in 2001 and during the three-year investigation." In fact, Joe was the ONLY person to report the information he’d received.

This gives me chills, It's eerily foreshadowing. Just 38 days from the day this posted, Paterno would be fired, and the legacy forever darkened. The legacy of who WE ARE cannot be broken by 1 man, 1 official, or 1 coach. Tradition doesn't work like that. I think we need an old school highlight video for 2019... it's time to get back to basics.

@riprock57 Жыл бұрын
Pretty flippant. Guess you didn't go beyond the clickbait headlines. Think for a minute. What would Joe have gained by hiding or covering up? Sandusky was already retired, no longer had anything to do with the university or the football program. It would have had no ill effect on Joe, the university, or PSU football. Quite the opposite: Joe would have been given an even bigger crown as King of Morals if he had turned in Sandusky! You know, the whole "Saint Joe" thing that made so many people jealous of him, his Grand Experiment, and "Success with Honor". I guess it's just too hard for you to believe that a pedophile can fool as many people as completely as Sandusky did, and you're so hateful/spiteful/cynical that you just want to see "Saint Joe" go down in flames. Makes you feel better about yourself somehow. Police officers, the State DA, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, officials at Penn State, officials at Second Mile, officials in the foster program, multiple psychologists, officials from the Department of Public Welfare, and officials from Child and Youth Services were all fooled by a serial child molester. Solution: Put sanctions on the Football program. 🙄
@GentlemanJack295 Жыл бұрын
@@riprock57 Succinct and accurate. Joe and CSS covered up 2001 because of 1998. Penn State was given a report by a licensed psychologist Alycia Chambers that said Sandusky was a pedophile in 1998. If 2001 had gone public and then the media found out about 1998 then "saint" Joe and CSS would have been fired. That plus PSU football sucked in 2001. So, you see not everyone was fooled and it was covered up to protect the image of the university of which football was the face.

I sometimes wonder if other human beings think before they write anything... Like Coach "Fucknut" D. Did it ever occur to him that he's spelling out something so obvious that even a pigeon would be aware of it? He goes above and beyond to find a video that was already several years old and he just drops his bomb. The excessive use of exclamation marks also tells about a story where we can find out just how importaant this revelation is for Coach Fucknut. He wanted to break it to the world. He went for it. And he sealed it with 2 motherfucking exclamation marks! Satisfied with his keen observation skills and ticking the checkbox for good deed of the day, he then proceeded to watch some barely legal porn.
